중국 경극의상의 미적요소를 응용한 현대 패션디자인 연구 = (A) Study on the Modern Fashion Design through a Factor of Aesthetic in China Peking Opera Costume

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 들어 정치분야 뿐 아니라 경제, 문화 전반에 걸쳐 급속한 성장 가능성으로 관심을 집중시키고 있는 동양의 대국 中國은 동양문화의 대표적 산실로써 동 · 서양의 구분 없는 충분한 흡입력을 갖고 있을 뿐 아니라 그 가치가 오랫동안 인정되어 왔다. 이러한 中國의 문화에 있어 京劇은 3대 국수(國粹)로 불리는 창극 예술로 세대 구분 없이 사랑을 받는 중국인이 가장 좋아하는 전통 문화예술로 중국인에게 큰 가치를 지닌 전통문화이다. 京劇의 의상을 연구함으로써 한류열풍과 대규모의 산업성으로 고도의 투자가치를 지닌 시장으로 인식되고 있는 中國을 이해하고 京劇의 이해를 통해 中國인의 문화를 체험하면서, 이국적인 색채와 감각으로 패션의 모티브가 되어오던 기존의 中國과는 다른 독특하고 새로운 中國의 스타일이 표현된 현대패션 디자인으로 새롭고 다양한 동양의 화려함을 보여 줄 수 있다.
京劇에 관한 이론적 고찰에 있어 문학분야에서의 자료를 통할 수는 있었으나 京劇의상에 관한 선행 연구 자료나 분석 자료는 미비하여 中國 북경에서 구입한 京劇 관련 서적과 사진 자료, 북경에서 직접 京劇을 관람하면서 얻은 시각 자료들을 중심으로 京劇의상에 관한 연구가 시행되었다.
본 논문에서는 中國을 대표하는 예술인 京劇의 문헌 고찰을 통한 연구로서 이론적 배경의 이해를 돕고, 그것을 바탕으로 京劇 의상에 대한 연구를 시작했다. 전통성, 장식성, 형식성, 상징성의 특성을 바탕으로 형태, 색채, 장식의 京劇의상 분류별 미적 요소 분석을 이루었고, 이것을 바탕으로 조형의 미, 채색의 미, 조화의 미, 장식의 미라는 京劇의상의 미적 요소를 얻어냈다.
이러한 이론적 배경과 분석 결과를 바탕으로 京劇 의상의 미적 요소는 현대패션 디자인에 응용되어 총 6점의 작품으로 디자인되었다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 京劇의상의 미적 분석에 앞서 미적 요소의 근본이 되는 몇 가지 특성을 분석한 결과 전통성, 장식성, 형식성, 상징성으로 구분되었다. 京劇의상은 전통적인 특성을 기본으로 하여 천대규제라는 형식성을 갖고, 그 형식적인 성격은 강한 상징성으로 관객에게 의사 전달의 기능까지 포함하며 京劇 의상디자이너의 창조 활동에 따른 기술적 테크닉으로 과장, 미화되어 화려하고 장식성이 강한 京劇의상으로 표현된다.
둘째, 京劇의상은 두의, 체의, 족의로 구분 지어 수십 종의 아이템을 얻어낼 수 있었다. 이것은 전통복식에 근거하여 변형된 것이며 각각의 아이템은 형식성에 의거해 배역과 색채에 관한 제한을 갖기도 하는데, 형태, 색채, 장식의 세가지 미적 요소로 각각의 京劇의상을 분석한 결과 京劇의상은 과장된 형태와 소재에 의한 조형적인 미적 요인을 갖고 있고, 다채로운 색상과 자극적인 색감의 채색미를 포함하며 강한 채색미와 소재, 문양 등이 중국인의 감각으로 매치되는 독특한 조화미와 京劇의상을 보기만 해도 느낄 수 있는 화려하고 섬세한 장식미를 갖는다.
셋째로 앞서 연구한 내용을 토대로 京劇의상의 미적 요소를 현대적 감각의 이브닝 웨어로 응용한 바, 京劇의상의 조형미, 채색미, 조화미, 장식미의 4가지 미적 요소가 살아있는 새로운 감각의 현대적인 디자인을 얻어낼 수 있었다.
京劇의상의 화려한 색채를 응용한 현대 패션디자인은 강한 조화로서 동양의 정서를 느낄 수 있으며, 섬세한 의복과 장신구들을 통한 패션 디자인은 독특함으로 그 가능성이 시사되고 발전적 방향을 모색할 수 있음에 의의를 둔다. 京劇의상을 통한 디자인의 발상은 화려하고 신비스러운 이미지를 통해 대외(對外)적일 수 있으므로 京劇의상의 미적 요소를 응용한 현대 패션디자인은 보다 더욱 섬세하고 화려한 동방의 의상을 보여줄 수 있다. 그러므로 아름답고 신화(神話)적인 감상을 느끼기에 충분한 京劇의상은 극대화된 동양의 미가 응용된 현대 패션디자인으로 표현 될 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Oriental big country, China which recently attracts concerns with the rapid developmental potentiality in the fields such as the entire economics, cultures as well as the politics is the typical type of the eastern culture, and it has the enough absorbing power without the distinction between the eastern and western world and also has been recognized by its values.
As for these cultures of China, Peking Opera is the classical opera which is one of the 3 nationalistic performance and it is the traditional culture which has the big meaning to Chinese people and is also the favorite traditional cultural arts of Chinese people beyond the ages. By researching the clothing of the Peking Opera, we can understand China which is being recognized as the market which has the big investment value with the Hanryu gale and vast industrial possibility, and with this understanding, we can experience the culture of Chinese people. Additionally, we can show the new and various eastern luxury with the modern fashion design in which the new Chinese style which is unique, new, and different from the previous other Chinese styles that have been the motives of the fashion with the foreign colors and senses was expressed.
In the theoretical consideration about Peking Opera, we can contact the data in the literature field, but the previous research data or analysis data about the Peking Opera was not enough. Thus, the research about the clothing of Peking Opera was executed centering the visual data which were acquired in the related publications that purchased in Beijing about the Peking Opera, picture data, and direct viewing the Peking Opera in Beijing.
In this thesis, as the research through the literature consideration of Peking Opera which is the typical arts of China, I planned to support the understanding of the theoretical background, and base upon the understanding started the study on the clothing of Peking Opera. Based upon the characteristics of the traditionality, decoration, formality, and symbolism, the analysis on shape, color, and ornament about the aesthetic elements in each the classification of the clothing of the Peking Opera was executed, and based upon the above elements, I can obtain the aesthetic element of the clothing of Peking Opera such as the beauty of modeling, beauty of coloration, beauty of harmony, and beauty of decoration.
Based upon the above theoretical background and analytic result, the aesthetic elements of the clothing of Peking Opera were applied to the modern fashion design, and finally they were designed into totally 6 works.
The summary of the result of this study is as follows.
Firstly, the result of the analysis of the several characteristics which are the bases of the aesthetic element advance to the aesthetic analysis of the clothing of Peking Opera classified the traditionality, ornamentality, formality, and symbolism. With the standard of the traditional characteristics, the Peking Opera holds the formality that is Chundae regulation, and the formal characteristics of the element includes the function of the communication with the spectators with the strong symbolism, and also the Peking Opera is described as the clothing of the Peking Opera which is luxurious with the exaggeration and beautification by the technological technique according to the creative activity of the clothing designer of the Peking Opera, and also is expressed as the clothing of the Peking Opera which has the strong decoration.
Secondly, the clothing of the Peking Opera were classified into the clothing for head, clothing for body, and clothing for foot, and tens of items could be acquired. These clothing classification was changed according to the traditional clothing, and each the item has the limitation for the role and color by the formality. The result of the analysis about the clothing of the Peking Opera with the three aesthetic elements such as the shape, color, and decoration showed that the clothing of the Peking Opera has the modelling aesthetical factor by the exaggerated shape and material and also includes the diverse colors and stimulating coloration, and shows the unique harmony that its strong coloring, material, and pattern are matched with the Chinese sense, and holds the luxurious and delicate ornamentality which can be felt by a sight of the clothing of the Peking Opera.
Thirdly, based upon the content of the above research, the application of the aesthetic element of the clothing of the Peking Opera for the evening wears which have the modern sense was executed, and the modem design which has the new sense and has the vivid 4 aesthetic elements such as the modelling, coloration, harmony, and decoration of the clothing of the Peking Opera.
The modern fashion design in which the luxurious coloration of the clothing of the Peking Opera was applied gives the eastern emotion with the strong harmony, and suggests the possibility with the uniqueness of the fashion design through the delicate clothing and ornaments, and allows the opportunity to seek the developmental direction. Since the conception of design through the clothing of the Peking Opera can be foreign through the splendid and mysterious image, the modern fashion design which the aesthetic element of the clothing of the Peking Opera was applied can shows the more delicate and luxurious clothing style. Therefore, the clothing of the Peking Opera which has the sufficient power to feel the beautiful and mythological sense can be described as the modern fashion design in which the maximized eastern beauty is applied.
