    The object of this study is for proving concretely the effect which coach's leadership affects the degree of athlete contentment according to each school(middle school and high school), each gender(male and female), and each level(high position and low position) about Table Tennis athletes.
    The subject of the study is 280 Table Tennis athletes registered at Korea Table Tennis League in 1999. In proportion to athlete's special quality, the style of coach's leadership was described by average and standard difference. And The comparison related with each school, each gender, and each level was represented by taking t-test. According to the style of the coach's leadership, there were also the athletes contentment represented by interrelation. The following conclusions were obtained by taking revolution analysis to know the effect and consequences.
    1. The style of the coach's leadership which studied people perceived, was represented as the sequence; the figure of training and instruction, democratic behavior and positive feedback. Especially, the figure of autocratic behavior was the lowest thing which the people perceived.
    2. According to each school, the difference of the leadership style was shown as the similar difference for the figure of middle school athletes' training and instruction, social dependance, positive feedback, and autocratic behavior under the level of (p<.05).
    3. According to each gender, the difference of leadership style was shown as the figure of male athlete's training and instruction, democratic behavior , and social support was all high. But statistically, there was no similar difference.
    4. According to the difference of leadership style following each level, the group of the high position was represented as the similar difference for the figure of positive feedback under the level of (p<.05). And although there was no similar difference statistically the group of the high position compared with that of the low position perceived higher about the figure of training and directions, democratic behavior, and social support .
    5. In the interrelation between the readership style and the contentment degree of the athletes each school, there are high relations in the team contentment and the athlete's contentment, when the training and instruction refer to p<.05, in the case of the athletes who are middle school students. There are also high relations in the role, the team, and the athlete's contentment, when the democratic type refers to P< .01. There are, however, minus relations in the game contentment, the team contentment, the athlete's contentment, when the autocratic behavior style refers to P<.05. In the case of the athletes who are the high school students, there is statistically no relationship between the leadership style and the athlete's contentment.
    6. In the interrelation between the leadership style and the athlete's contentment that is based on the sex, there are high relations in the contentment degree of their role for the male athletes, when the democratic behavior style refers to P<.05. For the female, on the other hand, there are high relation in the contentment degree when the democratic style refers to p<.05, there are minus relations in the team contentment when the autocratic behavior style refers to p<.05.
    7. In the interrelation between the leadership style and the athlete's contentment based on their level, there are high relations in the contentment degree of team for the athletes of high level, when the training and instruction refer to p<.05 and in the degree of a role, a team, an athlete's contentment when the democratic behavior style refers to p<.05. But there are high relations in the contentment degree of a team for the athletes of low level when the social support style refers to p<.05.
    8. According to the result of the regressive analysis to survey how the leadership style effects on the contentment degree of athlete, the training and instruction style are the modificatory factor to have a positive effort in the case of the athletes are the middle school students, when the athlete's contentment degree refers to p<.0l and the democratic behavior style refers to p<.05. However the autocratic behavior style is the modificatory factor to have a negative effect when it refers to p<.05. In the case of the contentment degree of female athletes they are the modificatry factor to have a positive effect when the democratic behavior style is the modificatory factor to have a positive effect for the high level athletes when the contentment degree of athletes refers to p<.05.
