유아의 정서지능과 정서적 부적응 행동과의 관계 연구 = A Study on relation between emotional mental capacity and emotional maladjusted action of children

This study aims at identification of emotional mental capacity that forms a central role in character formation and social adaptation of children, find out relation of it to emotional maladjusted action such as unrest, avoidance, and horror of children, investigate its degree for finding out basic materials regarding emotional development and education for children.
To achieve such objects, I have established following research tasks.
[Research Task 1] What is the general trend of emotional mental for children?
[Research Task 2] What is the general trend of emotional maladjusted actions for children?
[Research Task 3] What is the corelation between emotional mental capacity and emotional maladjusted for children like?
At first, what is the relation like between self recognition ability and emotional maladjusted action type?
second, what is the relation like between self adjustment ability and emotional maladjusted action type?
third, what is the relation like between others recognition ability and emotional maladjusted action type?
fourth, what is the relation like between others adjustment ability and emotional maladjusted action type?
I have carried this research to a total of 201 kindergarten children located in Kyunggi-do. children's emotional mental capacity test paper was 'emotional mental capacity check list' of Lee Byung Rae(1997), children's emotional maladjusted action assessment paper was 'Child behavior checkist' of Achenbach(1978) and emotional maladjusted questionnaire of Quay(1972), however they were reorganized with questionnaire for teachers of Kim Sun Jung(2000).
I have come to following conclusions:
At first, children's emotional mental capacity was above average of 3.34, low rank showed highest of self recognition ability, 3.60. In addition, sexual score showed 3.54 for girls compared to 3.20 for boys, and it showed significance that low rank showed more score for girls than boys.
Second, children's emotional maladjusted action showed ordinary 2.44, low rank showed highest score in withering action. In addition, boys had more emotional maladjusted action than girls. Low rank showed more score for boys than girls in every scope, significant level showed significance in every level.
Third, it showed negative corelation between children's emotional mental capacity and emotional maladjusted action for -.483(p<.01), and emotional mental capacity indicated self recognition ability(-.2591), self adjustment ability(-.413), others recognition ability(-.347), others adjustment ability(-.444), which showed all negative corelation(p<.01).
Further, the relation between high and low rank group of children's emotional mental capacity and emotional maladjusted action showed that low rank groups had higher level of children's self recognition ability and self adjustment ability, others recognition ability and others adjustment ability than high in light of emotional maladjusted action. Its significant level showed all meaningful difference in emotional mental capacity in low rank group.
Accordingly, children's emotional mental capacity and emotional maladjusted action were revealed to have close relation.
