어린이집 부모교육 내용과 방법에 대한 어머니의 요구도 연구 = (The) study of mothers' needs regarding content and type of parental education from day care centers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 어린이집 부모들이 요구하는 부모교육 내용과 방법이 관련 변인에 따라 차이가 있는지 알아보고, 이를 토대로 부모의 요구에 근거한 어린이집 부모교육 프로그램의 방향을 설정하는 기초자료를 제공하는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다.
이러한 목적을 위한 구체적인 연구문제는 다음과 같다.
가. 어린이집 어머니들이 요구하는 부모교육 내용은 어떠하며, 부모교육 내용은 유아와 어머니의 일반적 특성(유아의 출생순위, 연령, 성별, 유아 교육 기관 유형, 유아교육 기관의 소제지, 어머니의 취업 여부, 연령, 학력)에 따라 차이가 있는가?
나. 부모들이 요구하는 부모교육 형태는 어떠하며, 부모교육 형태는 어머니와 유아의 일반적 특성에 따라 차이가 있는가?
다. 부모들이 요구하는 방법은 어떠하며, 부모교육 방법은 어머니와 유아의 일반적 특성에 따라 차이가 있는가?
본 연구는 충남·북과 대전광역시에 위치한 12개 어린이집의 어머니 529명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구도구는 관계문헌을 토대로 연구자가 제작한 질문지를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 통계프로그램으로 변량분석과 교차 분석하여 처리하였다. 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 어린이집 어머니들의 부모교육 내용에 대한 요구도는 정서발달, 도덕성발달, 자녀와의 의사소통, 생활지도, 신체발달, 부모로서의 가치관 순으로 높게 나타났으며 제 변인에 따라서는 지역에서 도덕성 발달, 어머니 학력에서 정서발달과 사회성 발달이 통계적으로 유의한 차를 보였다.
둘째, 어머니들이 요구하는 부모교육 형태는 가정 통신문, 부모상담, 부모 참여 수업, 강연회, 워크�� 입학 및 신학기 오리엔테이션, 홈페이지를 이용한 부모교육 순으로 높게 나타났으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다.
셋째, 어린이집 어머니들은 부모교육이 한 학기에 2회 이상, 금요일, 10시에서 12시까지 2시간 정도로 유아교육기관에서 부모교육 전문강사에 의해 소집단으로 이루어지는 것을 가장 선호하였다. 부모교육 횟수는 어머니 연령에 따라, 부모교육 수강 시간대는 기관 유형, 어머니 취업 여부, 어머니 학력에 따라, 수강요일은 어머니 취업여부에 따라, 부모교육 담당자는 어머니 취업여부와 어머니 학력에 따라, 부모교육 장소는 기관 유형과 어머니 취업 여부에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다.
위의 결과에서 볼 수 있듯이 어린이집 부모들의 부모교육에 대한 요구는 일반 유아교육기관 부모들과 비교하여 별다른 차이는 없으나 부모교육의 방법에 있어서는 취업모의 비율이 높은 어린이집의 특성상 부모들의 요구를 반영한 차별화 된 어린이집 부모교육 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Purpose of this study was to investigate mother's need about parent education content and type in Day care center and to offer basic data of parent education program in Day care center.
For this purpose, the specific research questions were as follow.
1. What is mother's need of parent education content? Are there differences in parent education content according to variables of child and mother (children's birth order, age, gender, type of Day care center, place in Day care center, mother' job, mother's scholarship, and mother's age)?
2. What is mother's need of parent education type? Are there differences in parent education type according to variables of child and mother?
3. What is mother's need of parent education use? Are there differences in parent education use according to variables of child and mother?
The subject of this research were 529 mother of Day care center in Chung-Buk, Chung-Nam and DaeJeon city. The method for study was established by the questionnaire based on relative records. The collected data was analyzed by ANOVA, and cross analysis using SPSS/WIN.
The findings of this study could be summarized as follows:
First, there were significant differences in the content of parent education on children's birth order, age, gender, type of Day care center, place in Day care center, mother' job, mother's scholarship, mother's age. And orders of parent education content were shown emotional development, moral development, communication with children, living guidance, physical development, parent's view of value.
Second, there were no significant differences in the types of parent education according to variables. The orders of types of parent education were shown home communication, parent counsel, parent involvement, workshop, orientation, lecture, homepage board, discussion, assistance teacher, questionnaire, e-mail, home visit, internet chatting, and portrait meeting.
Third, there were significant differences in use of parent education according to variables. And the use of parent education that they wanted were as follows : Over 2 times a semester, on Friday, at 10 - 12 a.m., by parent education expert, and on small group.
The conclusions based on these results are as follows. There were no differences in content, types, and use of parent education between on mother of Day care content and kindergarten. But mother in Day care center wanted to enforce use because of her job.
