The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference of physical self-perception profile between students of general high school and physical education high school who conduct the limited life in schools.
Study scope include about 1,242 the 10th, 11th and 12th students, answering the survey questions of general high schools and the special purpose high schools, physical education high schools located in the city of Seoul, Gyunggi province and Gangwon province. And I exclude the data written dishonestly. The stratified cluster random sampling method was applied to this study.
I use of the physical self-perception profile, developed by Fox and Corbin as the measurements device and the survey questions paper consisted of four-choice structured alternative format in order to get rid of Social Desirable Responses.
With the view analyzing data, the statistics processing method was applied to Mean & SD, Reliability, ANOVA, t-test. As the results of analysis of data applied to by the above mentioned I got the conclusion as followings:
1) The difference of the lower causes of sport competence, attractive body, physical condition, physical strength, physical self-worth for high school students was demonstrated by sex based on the statistical meaningful level.(p <.001)
2) The difference of the lower causes of sport competence, attractive body, physical condition, physical strength, physical self-worth for high school students was shown by the types of high school based on the statistical meaningful level.(p<.001)
3) The difference of the lower causes of sport competence, attractive body, physical strength and physical self-worth between the atheletes and the non-atheletes is statistically meaningful. (p<.001)
But the difference between phy sical condition of atheletes and that of non-atheletes is almost m eaningless in statistics.
