    Today, it is true that with the industrialization idiocentrism increase in the Korean Society, but the relationship of koreans to the ingroup still tends to be collective. and particularly koreans have high consciousness for the "We" of their relationship. In this culture idiocentric persons have psychologiccally experiences in discord with allocentric members within ingroup.
    The main purpose of this study is to examine if idiocentric persons have lower levels of we-consciousness and higher levels of alienation and receiving less social support and a less quality of social support than allocentric persons, and there are sex/religion differences in the levels of perceived social support and alienation. In this study, alienation was defined as six subvariables of powerlessness, meaninglessness, normlessness, social isolation, cultural estrangement, and self-estrangement. Social Support was defined as four dimensions of emotional support, informative support, evaluative support, material support. The subjects for this study were 360 college students of undergraduate school (male: 174, female: 186). Statistical methods applied were Pearson's correlation coefficients, t-test, two-way analysis of variance, and Stepwise multi-regression analysis, and the ststistical somputations were done by SPSS.
    The results of this study are as follows;
    1. Individualism had negative correlations with we-consciousness and social support, but a positive correlation with alienation.
    2. There was significant sex/religion difference in the level of individualism.
    3. There was significant sex/religion difference in the level of alienation.
    4. There was a significant religion difference in the level of perceived social support.
    5. The level of we-consciousness had the strongest correlation to perceived social support.
    6. The level of idiocentrism had the strongest correlation to alienation. Through the results of this research, we know the fact that it is important to increase the levels of perceived social support and to decrease the level of alienation by making an effort for balance with others within ingroup.
