實業界 高等學校 學生들의 學校生活滿足度 實態에 관한 硏究 = (A) study on the level of satisfaction for the school life of commercial high school students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The goal of this research is to obtain fundamental data for better understanding of actual state of commercial high school education, so to normalize it and to find improving measurements of educational environment by investigating and analyzing the degree of students‘ satisfaction with their school life.
This research is based on the analysis of questionnaires on the contents as follows;
Firstly, students' satisfaction degree with their general school life,
Secondly, their satisfaction degree with 5 domains such as school environment, teachers, schoolmates, studies and career plan,
Thirdly, the differences of their satisfaction degree according to the changing factors such as their school year, sex, academic record, career plan and place of residence.
For this study, students from 3 commercial high schools in Seoul and Kyeonggi province were sampled and 405 sheets of replies were taken and analysed finally.
SPSS version 10.0 was used and frequency analysis, cross analysis, credibility analysis and chi-square test were conducted for this research.
The results of this study are summarized as follows;
Firstly, the commercial high school students' satisfaction degree with their general school life was shown high, therefore they seem to try to adapt themselves to the school life in spite of the society requiring academic background.
Secondly, they have satisfactory relationship with their teachers and between themselves in general, however, they are considerably dissatisfied with physical environment such as hygiene of classroom and school facilities, so we can see the low environmental condition of commercial high school.
For studies, they think there is a lot of school work in class per hour and a lot of homework but they are contented with usefulness of their homework, so they must be concentrated on studies during the class.
Regarding the career plan, they think that school life and school work will influence a lot their future but the school work itself is not satisfactory, which means career plan supporting programs should be prepared.
Thirdly, as a result of the analysis on the differences of their satisfaction degree according to the changing factors such as school year, sex, academic record, career plan and place of residence, there are great differences according to the academic record. As presumed, students who have good grades are not satisfied with classes concerning academic achievement and those who want to go to college are dissatisfied with school courses.
Lastly, there were important differences on the satisfaction degree of school life according to the location of school, it demands a study to examine the reason in detail afterwards
