노후생활을 위한 퇴직전 교육프로그램 개발에 관한 연구 = A STUDY ON PRELIM INARY SOCIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS BEFORE RETIREMENT

Preliminary social education programs before retirement, as a part of the life-long education, can enhance individual plans and preparations to cope with various problems appearing in old age before and after their retirement.
And programs may be characterized as information services and education programs in every field, needed to understand individual changed life-style, to recognize her/his own life as meaningful and valuable one, and continually to keep it healthy after retired.
Thus, there is importance of programs, in this regard that almost all the old people withdrawn from economic activities may achieve stable psychological status, and heighten their satisfaction of their lives from programs.
Owing to restricted performances of respectful treatment for the retired and the employed as an inner welfare policy in large-sized enterprises, the concept of education programs cannot be meaningful or effective to the aged designing the latter half of a lifetime in Korea.
From the viewpoint of a social needs, education for the retired programs must be strengthened for the adult to build their plans for the remained lifetime, to have leisure and hobby activities, to solve potential economic problems, and to accomplish selves-improvement. Nevertheless those programs are recognized matters of weght and importance, Government and social associations have failed to execute suitable programs.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is to establish a model of desirable social education programs and services suitable to the aged before retirement, and to propose them to related parties including Government, institutions, associations. and enterprises.
Those programs had better approach with a viewpoint of social education can solve several problem with the aged. It can help the old people to adapt themselves to changed environment out of workshop-oriented life, to prepare the next stage for improved and utilized lives.
Therewith, activated programs can contribute positively to solve the old people's problems including misusage of spare time, poverty, isolation, unhealthiness. So all related parties' endeavor is most essential to systematize programs.
Finally, this study shall be fundamentals that can help the aged before retirement to design their stable lives, enjoy their coming second lives after retired with social education program before retirement in their enterprises.
