職業價値觀과 職業選擇의 相互關聯性에 관한 硏究 : 정보산업고등학교 학생을 중심으로

The occupation means the continual activities of men to have economic earnings and to achieve social values. To serve the community and realize our egos as a happy individual and a member of community, above all we have to search our potential possibility, to develop it and to choose the occupation that is suitable for our aptitudes and abilities. From this point of view this study researched the students' the view of occupation values and analyzed them to find the most effective ways in order to guide their choices of occupations at school.
The subject of this study was vacational high school students and made up questions about their thoughts of the choice of occupations after graduation and the roles of school on their choices of occupation.
The results of this study are as follows;
First, the views of value to choose a occupation were various according to their sex, the standard of living and private specific character.
Second, in research into the maturation of directions most of students wanted to enter the collage, especially male students. And when they choose their occupation, they had specific gravity of their aptitudes and future prospects ; It is obvious that they are building up a proper the view of occupation value.
Third, their favorite occupations were various according to their views of the occupation value
As the result of this study, students' preference degree of the occupations was various according to the types of value in the extend of understanding occupations and the extend of preparing for choice of the occupations.
Therefore it is necessary that the instructor lead students to be positive on the outlook of occupations and to have healthy view of occupation value. Also the students will grasp their aptitudes, desires, interests and views of the occupation value and will find suitable job for themselves. And the schools will often consult with the students and cultivate their abilities of choosing suitable jobs by providing them with various data for choosing occupations such as knowledges and informations of occupation world.
Also opportunities to go on to university will be extended systematically and the range of choosing jobs will be widen largely for vacational students .
