다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Student-oriented education is the most important thing in current foreign language education. Chinese education also points to develop the communication capacity in the position of student. For that purpose, it should be practical and reflect on students' requirement, need, and preference. Such Chinese education induces self-study motive and leads study achievement. Student-centered requirements should be investigated and reflected on the Chinese education for students' self study motivation. In the other words students' requirements on the teaching methodology, teachers and textbooks directly related to students should be reflected and leaded for student-centered Chinese language education. Such Chinese education induces students' motive, confidence and interest in Chinese study. It makes Chinese class more interesting, and student more active in Chinese class.
It realizes student-oriented education to find out such things - how students think about Chinese education, what's urgent requirement and what is study motivation for encouraging study mind.
This thesis figured out the needs for us to analyse reasonably how our students think of the Chinese language and what they need for learning it in the position of students. The results of research hope to be good materials to improve Chinese language education effectively and basic data for students and people who are related to Chinese language teaching.
The questionnaire is from the 160 students of two humane high schools in Seoul and the 160 students of two humane high schools in local area. The total 320 students gave their answers about the opinion and linguistic requirements of Chinese language learning. First, the questions are the interest and motive of Chinese language learning. Second question is what is the reason if they had lost their interest of Chinese language learning. At the last part the analysis has done about what our students feel, think and require about Chinese language learning through the teaching methodology teachers textbooks that are the motivation elements of Chinese language learning. The thesis checked the problems of school education and suggested the considerable way to get over them.
The most important thing of foreign language education is to improve the communication capacity of students. To raise the students' communication capacity is to reflect the linguistic requirements of students through the student-oriented education. This is the element to inspire voluntary motivation when students learn Chinese language. These aspects require the making textbooks for students in the position of students. Teachers have to try many teaching methodologies and use various teaching materials at class. As good examples, teachers should have modest personal character and inspire students' confidence, understanding the merit or demerit of students and respecting students.
The course of study in the Chinese language education should be made for students with the proper content, respecting students' capacity and interest and considering the school education situation. This could take a role to raise the capable people who can use Chinese language at the society.
