유아의 음악 듣기교육 프로그램 연구 = (The) listening program of music education in early childhood

국문 초록 (Abstract)

유아들은 음악을 통해 성장할 수 있는 잠재적 능력이 존재한다. 그리고 유아의 심신을 조화롭게 성장 발달 시켜나가기 위해서는 음악활동을 통한 적절한 감각적 자극과 문화적 경험이 습득될 수 있는 음악교육이 필요하다. 음악활동 요소 중에 유아기의 정서적, 지적 영역 발달과 개인의 음악능력 향상에 많은 영향을 미치는 요소는 음악 듣기라고 할 수 있다.
음악을 듣는다는 것은 소리를 인식하고 형성하는 근원적 활동으로써 가창, 창작, 악기연주, 표현 등 다양한 분야에 영향을 미친다. 그러나 현재의 각 유아교육기관과 시설 등에서의 유아 음악교육 활동사례를 살펴보면, 대부분이 노래부르기나 단순한 악기다루기 일색일 뿐 듣기지도는 소홀히 하고 있다. 이러한 이유는 유아교육 교사들의 음악 듣기지도의 효과적인 교육방법 부재와 의식 결여 및 무관심 때문이라고 할 수 있다.
이 연구는 이상의 문제의식을 토대로 유아들의 다양한 음악활동 중에서 음악경험의 기초가 되는 음악 듣기지도를 통하여 음악작품을 이해하고 내용을 즐기며 음미하는 체험을 제공할 수 있는 효과적인 유아 음악 듣기교육 프로그램을 구안하여 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구방법으로는 문헌 분석 연구로서 연구내용과 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
연구내용으로는 첫째, 유아의 발달 특성 및 기본 음악능력을 고려한 단계적인 음악 듣기지도를 통해, 유아의 음악적 능력과 균형 잡힌 발달을 도모할 수 있다는 데에 초점을 맞추어 유아기의 발달특성에 따른 음악 발달과정과 음악 듣기능력의 발달단계를 고찰하였다.
둘째, 유아 음악능력 발달 이론을 토대로 유아 음악 듣기지도에 관한 본질과 선행 방법론을 고찰·제시하였다.
셋째, 유아기 음악 듣기지도에 관한 제 이론과 방법론을 기초로 유아의 음악 듣기지도의 교육방법을 구안·제시하였다.
결론적으로, 유아기의 음악 듣기지도에 있어서 유아의 음악능력 발달 특성과 음악 듣기지도의 본질을 이해함과 함께 조직적이고 체계적인 음악 듣기지도 방법이 계획·지도되어 유아때부터 음악을 들을 줄 아는 사람으로 키워 정서적·지적 발달은 물론 문화적 경험을 축적하여 건전한 시민으로 육성시켜 나가는 것이다. 따라서 이러한 음악 듣기지도를 실천할 수 있기 위해서는 우선 다양한 유아용 듣기자료가 개발·보급되어져야 하고, 효과적 교육을 위한 음향과 음악적 환경이 제공되어져야 할 것이다. 그리고 교사들은 지속적인 학습활동을 통하여 새로운 교육경험을 축적해 나가야 하며, 유아교육기관들은 재정적 투자를 통하여 음악교육 시설을 개선해 나가야 하며, 유아교육 교사들의 보습교육 및 연수교육이 가능하도록 지대한 관심과 노력이 요구된다. 이상의 관심과 노력이 결합되어질 때 유아의 음악 듣기교육이 효과적으로 진행될 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The children have potential capacities to grow up through the music. To help them grow, keeping the balance between body and mind, it`s necessary to give them musical education which makes them acquire cultural experiences and to give them the sensible stimulation appropriate for their growth through musical activities. Among the musical activities, li stening has a great influence on the emotional and mental growth of children, and the progress of musical ability of children.
Listening to the music is the fundamental activity to perceive and make sounds and it has a great influence on the various parts of music like singing, improvising, performing musical instruments and musical expression etc. But, considering the musical activities practiced in every educational institutions for children these days, they are composed of only singing and simple performing musical instruments but the listening is passed over. This tendency is caused by absence of teaching method, lack of consciousness and indifference of the teacher toward listening education.
The object of this study, based on the above mentioned critical mind, is to devise and present the effective listening program that helps children to understand, enjoy and appreciate the musical works.
The method used in this study is document analyzing approach, and the study is in substance as follows.
First, in this study have considered the process of musical progress and each progress stage of listening ability coincided with growth characteristics in early childhood, placing the focus that the listening education of music by stages considered growth characteristics in early childhood and foundational musical ability will bring up musical ability and equilibrate growth of children.
Second, have considered and presented the essence of listening education of music and the precedent teaching methods, based on the theory of progress musical ability of children.
Third, have devised and presented the teaching method of listening of music for the early childhood based on the various theories and methods of listening education.
In conclusion, as for the listening education of music in early childhood, we need to understand the growth characteristics in early childhood and the essence of listening education of music, and it`s necessary to devise and practice the methodical and systematic listening program of music to help the children grow emotionally and mentally, to help them accumulate cultural experiences and to bring them up as sound citizens. Therefore, the various listening materials will be devised and be diffused to practice the listening program of music, and acoustic and musical circumstances will be provided for the effective listening education.
Besides, it`s needed to pay vast interest and effort to help the teacher to accumulate teaching experiences through the continuous learning activities, to help the educational facilities in the educational institutions to be improved and make the teacher have the supplement education and training through the financial investment. When this interest and effort are combined, the listening education will practice effectively.
