게임놀이 프로그램이 정신지체아의 사회성숙도와 대인 관계 형성에 미치는 효과 = (The) Effect of the Game Play Program to the Mental Retarded Children on Social Maturity Degree and Human Relationship

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect on the social maturity degree and human relationship of the retarded. The subject was three retarded children adapted to the game play program.
The results from this study were as follows;
First, the effect of game play program on the social maturity was.
The retarded children participated in the program showed a significant development at the communication ability which is sub-domain of sociality. This was resulted from increasing the amount of language through mutual learning during repetitive proceedings of games among team members.
The program showed a different result according to the children's characteristics. This means self-control ability requires a certain degree of mental ability, so it was very difficult to adapt to the retarded.
The program played an important role to intensify mutual relationship and to live in harmony with their team members.
Second, the effect of game play program on the variance of human relationship was
Social intercourse among team members through game playing became very active, and they used higher degree of human relationship strategy.
While they were interested in the game program and took part in the program spontaneously, their reactions to the others became affirmative. Consequently, their concentrations was improved because of the devoting time to the game playing was prolonged.
The above results showed that the Game Play Program contributed to the development of the mental retarded children's sociality and human relationship.
From the above results, I want to suggest like this;
First, the deeper research with many members and long time should be made to enhance the reliability and objectivity because this study was applied to only a few children within a short time.
Second, the more research on the relations between game play program and concentration on learning should be made.
