중학생의 가정배경에 따른 체육교사 지도행동 유형 분석 = Leader Behavior Styles of Physical Education according to the Trait of Domestic Background in Middle School Student

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 중학생의 가정 배경을 포함한 사회인구학적 특성에 따른 체육교사의 지도자 행동유형을 분석하는 데 있다.
본 연구에서는 사회인구학적 특성 요인으로서 성, 학년, 주관적 학업성적, 부모의 학력 및 직업유형, 가족의 총 수입을 설정하였으며, 체육교사 지도 행동유형으로는 5가지 지도자 행동유형을 선택하였다.
지도자 행동유형은 Chelladurai와 Saleh(1980)의 스포츠 지도행동의 다차원 모형에 따라 지도자의 훈련과 지시행동유형, 민주적 행동유형, 전제적 행동유형, 사회적 지지행동유형, 긍정적 보상행동유형으로 하였다.
본 연구의 대상은 중학생으로 선정하였으며, 설문에 응답한 600명의 학생의 자료 중 불성실하다고 판단되는 33명의 자료는 제외하고, 완전한 설문지 총 567명의 설문지만을 자료로 사용하였다.
회수된 연구자료는 SPSS ver. 9.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였으며, 분석을 위해 사용한 통계 기법은 t-test, 일원변량분석(One-way ANOVA)이다.
중학생의 사회인구학적 특성에 따른 체육교사의 지도행동 유형의 선호도와 인식도를 알아보기 위하여, 성, 학년, 주관적 학업성적, 부모의 학력 및 직업유형, 가족 총 수입에 따라 중학생의 체육교사 지도 행동의 선호 유형과 인식유형을 분석하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 남학생들은 민주적 지도행동을 가장 선호하고 있으며, 긍정적 보상행동, 훈련과 지시행동, 사회적 지지행동, 전제적 행동순으로 선호하는 것으로 나타났다.
여학생들은 긍정적 보상행동을 가장 선호하고 있었으며, 민주적 지도행동, 훈련과 지시행동, 사회적 지지행동, 전제적 행동순으로 선호하는 것으로 나타내었다.
한편 체육교사의 지도행동 인식유형에서는, 남학생들은 민주적 지도행동을 가장 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났고, 긍정적 보상행동, 사회적 지지행동, 훈련과 지시행동, 전제적 행동순으로 인식하고 있었으며, 여학생들이 가장 높게 인식하는 지도행동유형은 긍정적 보상행동이며, 민주적 지도행동, 훈련과 지시행동, 전제적 행동, 사회적 지지행동순으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 성별에 따라 중학생들이 선호하는 체육교사 지도행동 유형의 분석에서 남학생이 여학생보다 민주적 행동, 사회적 지지행동, 훈련과 지시행동을 더욱 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
한편, 성별에 따라 중학생들이 인식하는 체육교사의 지도행동 유형의 분석에서는, 전제적 행동을 제외한 긍정적 보상행동, 민주적 행동, 사회적 지지행동, 훈련과 지시행동에서 남학생이 여학생에 비해 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타내었다.
셋째, 학년에 따라 중학생들이 선호하는 체육교사 지도행동 유형의 분석에서, 2학년 학생들이 1,3학년 학생들보다 전제적 행동을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
한편, 학년에 따라 중학생들이 인식하는 체육교사의 지도행동 유형의 분석에서는 3학년 학생들이 1,2학년 학생들보다 훈련과 지시행동을 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타내었다.
넷째, 주관적 학업 성적에 따라 중학생들이 선호하는 체육교사 지도행동 유형의 분석에서, 자신의 성적이 우수하다고 생각하는 학생들이 자신의 성적이 보통이거나 저조하다고 생각하는 학생들보다 긍정적 보상행동, 민주적 행동, 사회적 지지행동을 선호하는 반면 자신의 성적이 저조하다고 생각하는 학생들은 성적이 우수하다고 생각하는 학생들보다 전제적 행동을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
다섯째, 가정 수입에 따라 중학생들이 선호하는 체육교사 지도행동 유형의 분석에서 가정 수입이 250만원 이상의 학생들이 가정 수입이 150만원 미만의 학생들보다 훈련과 지시행동을 선호하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
한편, 부모의 학력에 따라 중학생들이 인식하는 체육교사 지도행동 유형의 분석에서, 모친의 학력이 중졸인 학생들이, 모친의 학력이 고졸이상인 학생들에 비해 훈련과 지시행동 유형을 높게 인식하고 있었으며, 부친의 직업이 관리·전문직인 학생들이 부친의 직업이 판매직인 학생들보다 전제적 행동을 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타내었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze the leader behavior styles of physical education according to the trait of domestic background in Middle school student.
The Trait of domestic background was characterized by sex, grade, degree of health, parent's educational background and job, income. The five leader behavior styles of physical education classified were Training and Instruction Behavior, Democratic Behavior, Autocratic Behavior, Social Support Behavior, and Positive Feedback Behavior in the multidimensional model introduced by Chelladurai and Saleh(1980).
A total of 567 middle school students were answered to the questionnaire.
The findings of this study were as follows:
1) In the preferred leader behavior style of man, Democratic Behavior was the most preferred behavior style. Positive Feedback Behavior, Training and Instruction Behavior, and Social Support Behavior were preferred to be of second, third and fourth respectively. Autocratic Behavior was the last preferred leader behavior style.
In the preferred leader behavior style of woman, Positive Feedback Behavior was the most preferred behavior style. Democratic Behavior, Training and Instruction Behavior, and Social Support Behavior were preferred to be of second, third and fourth respectively. Autocratic Behavior was the last preferred leader behavior style.
In the perception of leader behavior style of man, Democratic Behavior was the most perception behavior style. Positive Feedback Behavior, Social Support Behavior and Training and Instruction Behavior were perception to be of second, third and fourth respectively. Autocratic Behavior was the last perception leader behavior style.
In the perception of leader behavior style of woman, Positive Feedback Behavior was the most perception behavior style. Democratic Behavior, Training and Instruction Behavior and Autocratic Behavior were perception to be of second, third and fourth respectively. Social Support Behavior was the last perception leader behavior style.
2) Man prefer not only Democratic Behavior, Social Support Behavior, Training and Instruction Behavior to woman in the preferred leader behavior but also percept Positive Feedback Behavior, Democratic Behavior, Social Support Behavior, Training and Instruction Behavior in the perception of leader behavior.
3) Second grader prefer Autocratic Behavior than others and third grader more percept Training and Instruction Behavior to others.
4) The students whose academic record is excellent prefer Positive Feedback Behavior, Democratic Behavior, Social Support Behavior to others and the students whose academic record is poor prefer Autocratic Behavior to others.
5) The students whose domestic income is high prefer Training and Instruction Behavior to others and the students whose mother is low academic level more perceive Training and Instruction Behavior.
The students whose father's job is administrative position, professional position more perceive Autocratic Behavior than the students whose father's job is salesman.
