The ordinary have the physical imbalance by the lack of the exercise and the handicapped have much more serious physical imbalance and have the poor facilities for them. especially for the blind, it has been reported that they have the lower learning ability, perception, and physical action-ability than any other handicaps. They have the physical features such as obesity, weak upper limb, a low endurance, a low muscular endurance of the lower limbs, a low Vo2, a weak respiratory organ. The obesity is the most serious thing of all and they have the skin two times as thick as the ordinary.
The object of the study is to prove that 12 weeks exercise program affects the blind on the weight, the amount of accumulated fat, the percentage of accumulated fat and abdominal fat, the muscle, the quantity of the moisture in their body, the amount of the protein and mineral, which will stimulate the blind to take the proper exercise.
To prove the object that the exercise program will affect the blind on these various aspects, I chose 8 blind people who took part in 12 weeks program actively. I got the results from them that the exercise program makes their weight, the amount of accumulated fat, the percentage of accumulated fat and abdominal fat decrease but their muscle, the quality of the moisture in their body, the amount of the protein and mineral increase.
This 12 weeks exercise program affects the blind positively on the clenching power, abdominal muscular power, Power, flexibility. In other words, this program is effective in helping the blind improve their physical strength with training the flexibility and resilience. This program also improve the blind physiologically and can be used as a basic material for therapeutic exercise by reporting the serious physical problems of the blind and supporting them to get exercise.
