유아의 성, 나이에 따른 정서지능과 적응행동과의 관계 = (THE) RELATION BETWEEN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE ADJUSTABLE BEHAVIOR ACCORDING TO INFANT'S GENDER, AGE

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to offer the resource which would help to adjust of an infant by examining the relation between emotional situation and adjustable behavior according to infant's gender, age.

The major study problems are as follows:

1. According as infant's gender and age, is there any difference in the emotional intelligence?
2. According as infant's gender and age, is there any difference in adjustable behavior?
3. Is there any relation between emotional intelligence and adjustable behavior?

The subject for this study were 268 early children aged 3 - 5, who were attending 2 kindergarten and 1 day care center in taegu metro. city.
For measuring infant's Emotional intelligence, Kim, Kyoung-hoe's 'Emotional intelligence Rating Scale for preschool children'(EIRSPC) was used. For measuring infant's Adjustable behavior, Lee, Mu-Kyoung(2000) adaptation of Juwsuwan, Luter, Kosteling's(1992) PAQ(Preschool adjustment Questionnarie) was used.
For data analysis, percentage, mean, standard deviation, MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) and Pearson's correlation analysis were used, by using SAS statistical program.

The result of this study are as follows:

1. According as infant's gender and age, there is any difference in the Emotional intelligence.
2. According as infant's gender and age, there is any difference in adjustable behavior.
3. There is a significant positive relation between infant's Emotional intelligence and adjustable behavior.
