The purpose of this study was to examine whether Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskih Zadach would be a good way to further gifted children's creative thinking ability. The research questions were posed as below:

The subjects in this study were three children who turned out to be gifted among children who were voluntarily tested by the Korea Gifted Education Research Institute located in the city of Daegu. They belonged to the top 3% group that rated highest and were interested in science and mathematics. The assessment instrument used in the test was K- WisC-III(2001), and SCRBB developed by Renzulli and his colleagues was utilized to find out the characteristics of their learning, motivation, creativity and leadership. And their parents interviewed to obtain more information on their traits.
The Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskih Zadach program was reconstructed to be understandable for the children, and then was implemented 10 times, for three hours a day. To determine its effect, TTCT, a Korean version of 'Torrance Test of Creative Thinking: Thinking Creatively with Pictures, From A,' was employed to measure their creative thinking ability in pretest and posttest, especially five subfactors including fluency, originality, title abstractness, elaborateness and resistance against hasty conclusion. In addition, the creative thinking self-rating questionnaire was used to track the change of their creative traits, and their creative characteristics were recorded after this researcher observed them during the program.
The findings of this study were as below:
First, Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskih Zadach contributes to enhancing gifted children's creative thinking ability. In particular, it's effective for title abstractness, resistance against hasty conclusion, elaborateness and originality, which are the creative thinking subfactors.
Second, Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskih Zadach gives a positive impact on changing gifted children's creative characteristics, their need for knowledge acquisition, and their ability to apply acquired knowledge and envision a unique idea for better problem solving.
