중학교 창의적 재량활동의 운영실태 = (The) Creative Discretional Activity-Operating Status for the Middle School

The objective of the study is to provide with the basic information for the model-establishing of the creative discretional activity by analyzing the operating status for the creative discretional activity. The subject for achieving the objective is to understand how the training and study activity and the operating plan for the subject of study, further, subject-operating plan for the school unit, further basic operation for the creative discretional activity, operation status for pan text and self initiative studies go.
A questionary form was used to survey the operating status for the creative discretional activities based on 136 teachers responsible for the creative discretional activities of the middle schools located in Daejun City. The collected information data was statistically analyzed by applying the program SPSS/PC+ per major subject, where the degree of significance was verified at the level of p=0.001 by test per each group.
On the basis of the study result obtained from the problems up to now regarding the operating status for the creative discretional activity shows as follows:
First, The training and the study operation for the creative discretional activity was not sufficient for running the creative discretional one. Further, as the training also requires those of all the fields such as research and development for the teaching aids, program development, teaching method, based on the pan text subjects etc, some strengthening and taking measures for such training activities are urgently required.
Second, the investigation result shows that most teachers in charge understood the yearly operation plan per school unit, but those who joined the plan was only 38.9%. At any rate the teachers in charge should join positively the yearly operation plan per school unit.
Third, the result shows that the teachers alloted to a few hours of classes were responsible for the basic operation for the creative discretional activity, and the teaching in aid and the program were discretionally prepared by the teachers in charge. However, it is urgently required so that the program or the study, development and supply of teachings in aid may be developed by the team work.
Fourth, the pan text teaching and operational actual condition had teachers' wishes fulfilled at the time of selecting the learning contents and subjects. However the selective right for the students should be secured. On the other hand, these were performed per class per group in the school. However the organized group form and the place as well as the evaluation should be performed diversely.
Fifth: the operation for the self leading study was performed uniformly in the selective method for the subject, group organizing form, study result, evaluation etc. It should be performed with diversity and creativity considering the characteristics for the learners
