가정위탁모의 가정위탁보호에관한 인식 및 만족도 연구

The purpose of this study was to show the perception and satisfaction
of foster caregiver about foster care in Korea and to provide the
fundamental data for the activation of foster care and to make a fresh
perception of foster care.
The subjects of this study were 155 foster caregivers selected from
Holt (Children's Service Institution in Korea). Questionnaire with 42
questions was used for this study. Average, standard deviation, and
univariate distribution for each question were analyzed and took a Scheffe
test for investigating the difference between groups.
The results of this study can be summarized as follows.
First, most foster caregivers are aware that forster care is a temporary
care prior to adaption.
Second, most foster caregivers show an affirmative response to an
adaption and foster care.
Third, most foster caregivers generally were contented with the Holt
institution and its foster care supporting activities, especially, its medical
service to child. However they express financial support of the institution
is not enough for foster caregiving expenses.
Fourth, most foster caregiver were contented with foster activity.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 가정위탁보호활동에 있어 가장 핵심적인 역할을 담당하고 있는 위탁모를 대상으로 가정위탁보호에 대한 인식과 만족도를 조사함으로써 가정위탁보호에 대한 인식을 새롭게 조명하고 가정위탁보호의 활성화를 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다.
연구 대상은 현재 위탁활동을 담당하고 있는 홀트아동복지회의 위탁모 155명을 표집하였다.
연구 도구는 이기정(1999)의 질문지를 참고하여 본 연구자가 수정·보완하여 작성한 것으로 지도교수 1인과 설문조사를 실시할 기관의 담당 사회복지사 2인의 조언을 받아 완성하였다. 질문지는 총 42문항으로 구성되어 있고, 만족도를 측정하기 위한 문항의 Cronbach α는 .69, .85, .68 로 나타났다.
자료의 처리는 SPSS/WIN 통계 프로그램을 이용하였다. 가정위탁모의 인식과 만족도를 살펴보기 위해 빈도와 백분율을 구하고, 측정도구의 신뢰도를 위해 Cronbach α를 산출하였다. 가정위탁모의 만족도가 조사 대상자의 인구·사회학적 변인에 따라 어떻게 달라지는지를 살펴보기 위해 일원변량분석과 Scheffe 검증을 실시하였다.
본 연구에서 밝혀진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 대부분의 위탁모들은 가정위탁보호를 입양 전 아동을 임시 보호하는 것이라고 알고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 대부분의 위탁모들은 입양이나 위탁모 권유 의사에 대해 긍정적인 반응을 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 위탁모들은 전반적으로 기관에 대해 만족하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 의료 서비스에 대한 만족도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났고, 양육비에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 위탁모들은 대부분 위탁활동에 있어서 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
