This study was designed to make a draft for the development of customer satisfaction management strategy in TaekwonDo Do Jang, and examined to verify the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction.
The 289 subjects included TaekwonDo Do Jang students and their parents who were selected by applying the multi-step cluster sampling method, and asked to questionnaires. The questionnaires were based on that the developed by Zeithaml et al.(1988) and Nam, Seung-woo(1997) and showed a Cronbach alpha of 0.71 to 0.91.
Data was analyzed by applying descriptive statistics, paired sample T-test, independent sample T-test, one-way ANOVA, multiple regression and factor analysis using the SPSS 10.0 statistical program package.
On the basis of the results analyzed in this study, the conclusion could be drawn as follows.
First, on the analysis of expect - to - outcome for service quality evaluation in TaekwonDo Do Jang, respondents evaluated outcome lower than expect.
Second, students responded statistically significant differences in tangibles and reliability across the age. But in case of parents, there was statistically insignificant difference in the demographic characteristics.
Third, tangibles, reliability, assurance and empathy in the service quality factors had positive influences on satisfaction of students. And, in case of parents, only responsiveness factor had positive influence on the satisfaction in TaekwonDo Do Jang.
Finally, there were statistically significant differences in satisfaction of instructors and social moral nature between students and parents. In other words, students were more satisfied than parents with instructors and parents were more satisfied than students with social moral nature. However, there was statistically insignificant difference in overall satisfaction of in TaekwonDo Do Jang.
