The purpose of this study was to analyze management techniques in private Tea Kwon Do Do-Jangs to help masters and instructors for effective management by the masters and instructors. The population selected for this study was 253 males and 3 females those who teaching Tae Kwon Do in Private Do-Jangs as a instructors and masters.
The data were obtained through questionnaires which were modified, distributed, and collected by the researchers. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze profile of the subjects(e.g., gender, age, educational level, and experience level). Two-way Chi-Square procedures were applied to analyze the data related with management techniques.
Following conclusions are made from the results of the study.
1. From the results of the study, the motivation to be a instructor or master of Tae Kwon Do, he/she preferred exercise and teaching and the most important thing as a instructor or master is that devote his/her affection to Tae Kwon Do.
2. Most instructors or masters have been teaching classes less than 30 hours per a week and they needed an rest area in the Do Jang.
3. Average participants in a class are about 40 students and instructors and master have changeable programs which depend on the circumstance. And also, they stress on etiquette and sound mind education.
4. Average fees are 60.000 won per a month and they paid rent fee and salary mostly.
5. They paid about 10 % of total income for Tae Kwon Do Schools advertisement and they are advertising their Tae Kwon Do Schools through students' parents.
