홀리스틱 교육방법을 적용한『채소 가꾸기』단원의 교수?학습 지도안 개발

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 홀리스틱 교육방법을 적용한 실과 교수·학습 지도안을 개발하여 초등 실과 교육의 수업개선에 도움을 줄 수 있는 기초적 자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다.
홀리스틱 교육에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통하여 제6차 교육과정에 근거한 초등학교 실과의 가꾸기 및 기르기 영역과 홀리스틱교육과의 관련성을 분석하였다.
그 결과 첫 번째, 홀리스틱 교육에서 추구하는 이념 중 실과교육과 관련된 측면으로는 생태학적 사고방식의 중시, 인간과 자연과의 공생유지, 조화로운 생태계 유지, 생명에 대한 외경, 지구생명권에 대한 이해교육 등을 들 수 있다.
또한, 실과 교과서의 각 학년별 가꾸기 및 기르기 영역의 내용을 분석한 결과, 식물과 동물의 소중함, 흙과 물의 고마움, 생태계의 중요성, 환경교육의 중요성, 풍부한 감성, 자연과의 조화 등 홀리스틱 교육에서 추구하는 이념과 깊은 관련성이 있었다.
두 번째, 초등실과 교육에서 홀리스틱 교육을 적용하여 개발된 「채소 가꾸기」 단원의 교수·학습 지도안의 결과는 다음과 같다.
연구 단원에 대한 수업모형은 홀리스틱 교육에서 추구하는 이념과의 관련성을 바탕으로 대비-대면-대용-대화-대평의 5단계로 설정하였고, 각 단계별 활동은 별지로 작성하여 학습 활동시 활용할 수 있게 하였다.
연구 단원의 재구성은 학습 장소와 학습 시간을 학교나 지역사회 실정을 고려하여 작성하였다. 학습 장소는 연구 단원의 내용에 따라 교실에서 이론적인 내용을 다루어야 할 경우, 현장 견학 학습을 실시해야 할 경우, 학교에 실습지가 없는 경우, 학교에 실습지가 있는 경우 등으로 나누어 설정하였고, 학습 시간은 연구 단원이 총 5차시로 편성되어 있는 것을 학습 장소에 따른 수업형태를 고려하여 총 11차시(실내학습 1차시, 현장견학학습 2차시, 야외수업 4차시, 실습지 수업 4차시)로 하였다.
교수·학습 지도안은 「채소 가꾸기」 단원의 소주제인 채소의 종류, 채소를 가꾸는 시설, 쑥갓 가꾸기, 상추 가꾸기, 토마토 가꾸기, 고추 가꾸기의 6가지 소주제에 대하여 개발하였으며 본 지도안에 적용한 홀리스틱 교육 방법은 심상 활동, 은유, 이야기, 시, 노래 등과 같은 방법을 적용하였다.
이러한 교수·학습 지도안을 적용하여 지도한다면 실과 교육의 목표에 효과적으로 접근할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to develop lesson plan based o holistic education that would help the class improvement of Practical Arts Education in elementary school.
There two major research problems.
First, this study analyzed the relativeness between holistic education and “Plant culture and Animal management” part of 3~6th grade in Practical Arts Education through theoretical review about holistic education.
Second, this study developed holistic education lesson plan and instructional materials focusing on “Vegetables Growing” area in 5th grade in Practical Arts Education.
As results were belows;
1.The principles of holistic education applied to this study were the ecology centered motion, the commensal relation between human and nature, the harmonious ecosystem, the reverence for life, the education about the right of the earth life. Also the relative expects between holistic education and “Plant culture and Animal management” part in Practical Arts Education were the importance of plants and animals, the appreciation for soil and water, the importance of ecosystem, the importance of the environment education, the abundant sensibility, and the harmony with nature.
2.The lesson plan developed through reconstruction of instruction place and time. The instruction places of “Vegetables Growing” were various.
Classroom, field trip, practice field, other place in school were considered to choose in this study from school and community.
The instruction time was changed from 5 hours to 11 considering the lesson forms related to learning place. The instruction model used in the developed lesson plan consists of five steps : preparation -introduce -problem solving -conversation -assessment Each steps of the model applied to all the 11 hours instruction of “Vegetables Growing”. Image work, metaphor, story-telling, poem, song were used as teaching method of holistic education.
Lesson plans of “Vegetables Growing” were consist of six themes(such as) the kinds of vegetable, the equipment, crown daisy growing, lettuce growing, tomato growing, pepper growing.
The educators can reach the goal for the effective instruction of Practical Arts Education if they teach their students with this lesson plans.
