노인종합복지관의 프로그램 이용 실태 및 만족도에 관한 연구 : 청주시 노인종합복지관을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 노인들이 행복한 노년기의 노후생활을 돕기 위하여 여가시설로서 노인종합복지관의 역할과 현황, 프로그램을 중심으로 제한하여 연구하였다.
연구의 방법 및 범위로는 문헌조사와 노인종합복지관의 프로그램 이용실태 및 만족도에 관하여 좀더 구체적인 현황을 파악하기 위하여 청주지역의 청주시노인종합복지관을 이용하는 노인들 중 295명을 대상으로 설문조사를 병행하였으며, 자료처리와 분석은 SPSS Window 10.1를 이용하였다.
노인종합복지관의 프로그램 이용실태 및 만족도에 관한 조사분석 결과 노인들에게 다양한 프로그램의 제공으로 노인종합복지관이 노인여가생활에 매우 중요한 역할을 하고 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었고, 노인종합복지관의 많은 증설과 복지관 시설 및 프로그램의 질적인 향상이 요구되었다. 노인종합복지관 이용과 프로그램의 활성화방안으로 먼저, 노인종합복지관은 지역노인을 위한 여가시설로 주거지역과 가까운 곳, 주변지역에 문화시설, 체육시설 등이 인접한곳에 설립하여 효과적인 연계 프로그램의 실시와 복지관의 순회차량제공과 지역사회구성원의 관심과 지원을 위해 다양한 홍보를 필요로 하며, 다음으로 노인특성에 맞는 다양하고 새로운 프로그램의 개발과 교양교육프로그램, 노인의 정신 및 건강상태에 맞는 프로그램, 현장학습 프로그램, 노인자원활용 프로그램, 세대간의 교류 프로그램, 지역사회의 시설 및 기관과의 연계 프로그램 등 노인들의 여가활동 욕구를 다양하게 프로그램을 개발하여 효과적으로 운영할 수 있다. 앞으로, 노인종합복지관이 건강하고 행복한 노후생활을 영위할 수 있는 여가시설과 활동장소로서 정부나 지방자치단체는 본 연구에서 제시된 활성화방안을 적극 수용하여 지역노인복지센터로서 역할에 충실하고 노인종합복지관이 발전되어 그들의'제2의 가정'이 되도록 해야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study mainly focused on the roles, conditions and programs of the current composite welfare institute for the aged, as to assist and support happy lives in their old ages.
Researches were made using documents and questionnaires. Aiming at getting specific results on the utilizing condition and satisfaction level over programs at the composite welfare institute, questionnaires were delivered to 295 aged people using the institute at the Chungju city. The SPSS Window 10.1 were used for analyzing and processing data.
I could reaffirm the fact that the composite welfare institute were of great importance to the aged, providing various kinds of programs. Such institutes should be established more in numbers, and facility and program qualities should be upgraded. Program utilization and activation plans are as follows.
First, welfare institutes should be located near residential districts close to gyms and cultural facilities, and implementation of effective connection programs and shuttle buses offering are essential. P.R. activities are needed as to draw citizens' interest and support.
Second, various kinds of new programs should be developed that can fit into each aged people's character. Culture/education programs, programs considering their health and mental conditions, field work programs, programs over utilizing elderly resources, inter-generation relationship programs, and connection programs with other institutes could be developed and effectively operated as to fulfill their leisure time needs.
For the composite welfare institute to play an important role in securing happy, healthy life and appropriate leisure time for the aged, the government and the local self-governing body should actively accept the activation measures suggested in this study, and the composite welfare institute should ultimately grow into a 'second family' for the aged people.
