방송사직원의 스트레스와 직무만족과의 관계연구 = (A) Study on the relationship between stress and job satisfaction of the personnel of broadcasting stations

The purpose of this study was to provide basic materials regarding the relationship between stress and job satisfaction of the personnel of broadcasting stations for improvement of job satisfaction. For this study, 92 workers of M broadcasting station at K city (megalopolis) which understand and accept the purpose of this study were investigated during July 1 to 30, 2000. Systematic questionnaires as a research tool were used and they consisted of 11 questions of general characteristics and 6 questions of stress and 21 questions of job satisfaction. In order to determine stress in this study, the total 6 questions were made after examination and revision of questionnaires used in previous studies of Choi (1993) and Jackson (1983) . and they afforded the reliability of this study Cronbachs a = .8200(stress), 9111(Job stisfaction).
Using SPSS computational program, the collected data were analyzed by frequency, ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient, respectively.
The research results are as follows.
1. In the analysis of the results of stress complying with general characteristics, there were statistically significant differences in religion and current division (P(0.05). For religion, the decreasing order is Protestantism (3.28), Buddhism (3.21), Catholicism (3.08) (F=2.838, p=0.043). For current division, the decreasing order is the rest (3.28), technical part (3.23). production part (3 20) (F: 3.851, p=0.003)
2. In the analysis of the results of job satisfaction complying with general characteristics, there were statistically significant differences only in age (P<0.05). The worker with over the age of 40 showed the highest (3.38), and with the a9e of 26-30 (3.00) and with the age of 35-40 (2.97) respectively.
3. In the analysis of the results of stress item, the opinion of I feel stress due to a heavy burden of my work, showed the highest (3.28), whereas the opinion of I feel stress due to the relation of the TV audience (customer) showed the lowest (2.96).
4. In the analysis of the results of job satisfaction item, the opinion of My duty that I am performing is really important. Showed the highest (3.72). whereas the opinion of My view of general problem and its treatment is reflected in the administration of broadcasting station. showed the lowest (2.60).
5. The hypothesis in this study, the correlation that the lower stress of the personnel of broadcasting station, the higher job satisfaction was supported (r=-0.235, p: 0.024).
Summarizing the results stated above, for achievement of common goat of organization, it is concluded that it is necessary for the personnel of broadcasting station to have an alternative proposal to lower the stress. affording satisfaction to the personnel and the customer.
