This study was aimed at representing its desirable alternatives through the process of diagnosing the factors influencing on social worker's office satisfaction at day-care facilities for the elderly. For this, this researcher took a look at the determinant which is influencing the most on their office satisfaction among individual factor, environmental factor, role conflict factor.
This researcher began with the assumption that role conflict factor would have more much influences on their office satisfaction than others(individual factor, environmental factor) on the account of the characteristics of day-care work for the elderly. For its verification, there investigated into the variables influencing on their office satisfaction among its role conflicts.
For the above research, this researcher surveyed social workers who engages in day-care facilities for the elderly over countries. As statistical analysis methods, there fulfilled T-test, one-way ANOVA with SPSS statistics package, and also executed regression analysis to analyze their office satisfaction factor.
The findings of this research were as follows :
First, whole investigation objectives' official satisfaction were as follows :
First of all, their whole office satisfaction got 2.96 score in Likert's 5 full marks scale, accordingly their office satisfaction at day-care facilities for the elderly appeared mainly to moderate level.
Second, this researcher took a look at individual factors(age, academic degree, career, accomplishment), environmental factors(the elder as the facility user), role conflict factors(their role-ambiguity, environmental disturbance, methodological uncertainty, incapability) as the independent variables to look through the factors influencing on their office satisfaction under investigation.
On the basis of the above results, there had the significant differences in their age with regard to individual factors, in their role-ambiguity, incapability, methodological uncertainty with regard to role conflict factors. In the other hands, with the respective to their individual factor, the older they get, the lower their office satisfaction is. At the aspect of their environmental factor, the more their role ambiguity, incapability, methodological uncertainty, the lower their office satisfaction is.
There had much the problems in inducing significant results on the account of restrictive research objective. Anyway, from the above results, this researcher would be able to provide some of suggestion as follows :
Social worker at the detached care facilities showed affirmative response on the satisfaction concerning the supervision and facility, accordingly there would make an effort to promote environmental standards that can give all their energy to day-care work for the elderly. In other words, their office satisfaction would be able to improve, on the conditions that they have the authority to provide its users useful service through proper methods to supervise day-care facilities for the elderly. With this, this researcher analyzed the factors influencing on their office satisfaction. Hence, there had negative influences on the aspects of individual factor(their age), their role conflict factors(role ambiguity, incapability, methodological uncertainty).
On the basis of the above results, the alternatives to enhance their office satisfaction as follows :
First, there has to enforce their education to enhance social worker's office ability at day-care facilities for the elderly.
Second, there would have to share concretely, accurately social workers' office at day-care facilities for the elderly to solve their role ambiguity. With this, it is necessary to prepare their office standardization politically.
Third, there need to provide with special supervision which can represent obvious alternatives without ambiguous method or process.
Of course, it goes without saying that there have much the difficulties under the circumstances that the commence of day-care work for the elderly is little more than 10 years. Nevertheless, the continuous research concerning day-care work for the elderly would enable to solve the problems in ambiguous method or process.
