The Purpose of this study is to find some educational principles based on the buddhist view of life. This principles will help out re-creation for the new paradigm of early childhood philosophy. Today´s education is based on the anthropocentrism and mechanical world view. Although Anthropocentrism and mechanical world view gifted much things-welfare, convenience...-to human, today, it also gifts ecological and life crisis. To overcome these crisis, I suggest the ˝Lifeism˝ and seek in the buddhist view of the world. Buddhism is our traditional thought and has wide ´life-honor thought and is educational philosophy in itself.
The buddhist view of the world is ˝Yun-gi-bub(緣起法)˝ and the character of its ˝lifeism˝is (1) the character of a rotation (2) the character of equality, (3) the character of the sameness.
According to the attentive review on the buddhist philosophy, the following principles for the early childhood education are suggested for new paradigm : (1) Bulsansaeng(不殺生) : geducation for respecting life, (2) Dongilchesim(同一體心) : education for harmonizing nature (3) Musoyou(無所有) : education for saving and moderation (4) Chugchugmujinyungi(重重無盡緣起) : education for pursuit community, (5) Suhaeng(修行) : education for meditation and pursuing deep studies (6) Chadungmung Bubdungmung (自燈明 法燈明) : education for self-consciousness and real life (7) Ilchejungsaeng silyoubulsung (一體衆生 實有佛性) : the recovery of true humanity (8) Jariita(自利利他) : education for altruistic life (9) Jihaenghabil(知行合一) : education for practical life (10) Chatacdongsi( 啄同時)education for sutable time (11) Sanggubori Hahwajungsaeng(上求菩堤 下化衆生) : education for co-progress between student and teacher.
