한국어 학습자의 읽기 전략 훈련과 학습 결과 분석 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 한국어 학습자의 읽기 전략 훈련이 학습 결과에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 그 실제적인 효용성을 검증해 봄으로써, 보다 효율적인 읽기 교수·학습 활동의 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 제1장에서는 한국어 교육의 현황 속에서 한국어 읽기 수업이 읽기 전략 훈련중심으로 이루어져야함을 밝히고, 이를 위한 연구의 필요성 및 목적과 구체적인 연구의 내용을 소개하였다. 제2장은 이론적 배경으로서 한국어 읽기 교육이 교육학적, 심리학적, 언어학적 측면에서 어떻게 다루어져야 하는지 살펴보고, 읽기 연구의 패러다임을 중심으로 읽기 과정 모형을 비판적으로 검토하며, 한국어 교육의 읽기 수업이 지향하는 읽기 전략 교수·학습 내용을 살펴보았다. 읽기 전략 교수·학습이란 구성주의적 관점에 근거하여 읽기 과정을 글과 독자 사이의 상호작용을 통하여 글을 이해하고 의미를 재구성해 가는 활동으로 전제하고 독자 즉, 학습자의 스키마와 초인지 개념을 적용한 학습자 중심의 읽기 과제 수행활동이다. 제3장에서는 연구의 방법 및 절차를 소개하고, 본 연구가 갖는 제한점에 대해서 논의했다. 먼저 연구의 목적을 수행하기 위한 세 가지의 구체적인 연구 문제를 제기하였다. 1) 읽기 전략 훈련 수업은 전통적인 읽기 수업과 어떻게 다르며, 수업 후에 학습자들은 읽기 과제 수행시 어떠한 변화를 보이는가? 2) 한국어 학습자들의 읽기 전략 훈련 수업은 읽기 성취도 테스트 결과에 영향을 미치는가? 3) 한국어 학습자들의 읽기 전략 훈련 수업은 읽기 숙달도 테스트 결과에 영향을 미치는가? 이러한 문제를 밝히기 위하여 본 연구는 한국어 학습자 집단을 읽기 전략 훈련 수업을 실

The purpose of this study is to suggest effective ways of teaching and learning Korean language reading skills for the learners of Korean as a foreign language by analyzing the effects and results of the reading strategy training class. Chapter 1 presented previous researches on teaching Korean as a foreign language and emphasized that reading class should be focused on the training for the reading strategy. The rationale, purpose and specific content of the study were also mentioned. Chapter 2 discussed how Korean language reading education should be approached in terms of psychological, pedagogical, and linguistical aspects. And Reading Process Model was discussed based on the paradigm of research on reading performances. The method and mode of teaching and learning of reading strategy that Korean language education is aiming at was also presented. Reading Strategy Training Class was defined as the learner-centered reading performance activity, employing the concept of learner's schema and meta-cognition based on the constructivists' view Chapter 3 presented the methodology of the study, including the description of subjects, data collection, and method of analysis, and the limitation of the study. In order to suggest effective ways to teach reading strategy, the study was done with following objectives: 1)To see how the Reading Strategy Training Class differs from the traditional reading class and what differences the learners show in reading task after they have the reading strategy training. 2) To see if the Reading Strategy Training Class affects the result of reading achievement test. 3) To see if the Reading Strategy Training Class affects the result of reading proficiency test. And this study was conducted on intermediate level students of Korean for the period of one semester. The subjects were divided into the treatment group, who had training for the reading str
