The study was carried to find out which factor out of three factors(self-view, importance, and self-acceptance) is more important predictor of global self-esteem. The factors used in the study were self-view, personal importance, group importance, subjective group importance and self-acceptance of one´s Weakness. The study 1 was carried out to determine which factors are more important predictor of global self- esteem than self-view, with the factors employed in the study 1 being self-esteem than self-view, personal importance, self-acceptance of one´s weakness. The relation between personal importance and global self-esteem was investigated through reporting one´s strength and weakness by open questions. Although any finding wasn´t obtained to support personal importance hypothesis and self-acceptance of one´s weakness hypothesis, ´the overall self-acceptance´ that considered both self-acceptance of one´s strength and weakness was more correlated with global self-esteem than self-view. Adding another factor, group importance, to the study 1, the study 2 was carried out by presenting 20 specific domains found in the study 1. Another analysis was added to the study 2. To investigate whether the self-acceptance of very important and inferior domain will impact on self-esteem, Another analysis was added to the study 2. ´Overall self-acceptance of one´s weakness was partly subjective group importance was added to the study 3. Like the study 2, the study 3 was conducted to find out the effect of self-acceptance of very important and inferior domain. ´Overall Self-acceptance´ were more correlated with global self-esteem than self-view and self-acceptance of one´s weakness was partly supported.
The findings of three studies were failed to support personal importance and group importance. The self-acceptance of one´s Weakness hypothesis was partly supported. The self-acceptance of very important and inferior domain made the difference of self-esteem. Self-acceptance of one´s strength and weakness was found to be correlated with global self-esteem, suggesting that self acceptance of one´s strength and weakness was an important factor of global self-esteem.
