부모의 양육태도에 따른 청소년의 성취동기 = (A) Study on the Relationship Between Adolescent's Achievement Motivation Depending and Parental Attitudes

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 청소년의 성취동기에 있어 성별에 따라 차이가 있는가를 알아보고 청소년이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 성취동기 간의 관계를 살펴 보고자 하였다.
연구를 위한 표집대상은 서울시내 4개 중학교의 2학년 학생으로서 총 392명이었다.
부모의 양육태도와 성취동기에 대한 자료는 각각 질문지를 배부 수집하였으며 부모의 양육태도는 애정지향, 자율지향, 성취지향, 합리지향 등의 4개 차원을 포함한 것이다.
수집된 자료의 처리는 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, 상관관계분석, 중회귀분석, 그리고 측정도구의 신뢰도를 알아보기 위해서 Cronbach' α를 산출하였다.
연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
1. 청소년의 성취동기에 있어서 남아가 여아보다 성취동기가 높게 나타났다.
2. 아버지의 양육태도 각 차원은 청소년의 성취동기와 유의한 상관이 있었다. 즉 남아의 성취동기는 아버지의 성취지향적, 애정지향적, 합리지향적인 태도와 유의한 정적 상관이 있고, 여아의 성취동기는 아버지의 애정지향적, 합리지향적, 성취지향적인 태도와 유의한 정적 상관이 있었다. 특히 남아의 성취동기는 아버지의 성취지향적인 태도, 여아의 성취동기는 아버지의 애정지향적인 태도와 가장 높은 상관을 보였다.
3. 어머니의 양육태도 각 차원은 청소년이 성취동기와 유의한 상관이 있었다. 즉 남아의 성취동기는 어머니의 성취지향적, 애정지향적, 합리지향적, 자율지향적인 태도와 유의한 정적 상관이 있고, 여아의 성취 동기는 어머니의 애정지향적, 합리지향적, 성취지향적, 자율지향적, 태도와 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 특히 남아의 성취동기는 어머니의 성취지향적인 태도, 여아의 성취동기는 어머니의 애정지향적인 태도와 가장 높은 상관을 보였다.
4. 남아의 성취 동기는 아버지의 합리지향적인 태도와 어머니의 성취지향적인 태도에 의해 영향을 가장 크게 받고있다.
5. 여아의 성취동기는 아버지의 합리지향적인 태도와 어머니의 애정지향적인 태도에 의해 영향을 가장 크게 받고 있다.
결론적으로 청소년의 성취동기는 남아가 여아보다 높은 성취동기를 나타냈으며 남아·여아에게 자율지향적인 태도를 제외하고는 아버지의 양육태도 차원과 유의한 관계가 있으며 어머니의 양육태도 각 차원은 청소년의 성취동기와 깊은 관련이 있는 것으로 결론 내릴 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study was to examine observe the difference in the motive of accomplishment by adolescent according to sex, and also to explane the relationship between the parental attitudes their Children's achievement motivation.
The subjects were 392 students in the 2nd grade of 4 middle schools in Seoul.
Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, regression and Cronbach' α were calculated for the statistical analysis.
The major results were as follows,
1. There was a significant difference in the achievement motivation according to adolescent's sex; Boys were more highly appeared than girls.
2. Each dimension of the rearing attitude by father had a significant correlation with the motive of accomplishment by youth.
In particular, the motive of accomplishment by boys was shown to have the highest correlation with the father's accomplishment-oriented attitude, while the motive of accomplishment by girls was most highly correlated with the affection-oriented attitude of father. However, in the both boys and girls, it was revealed that the autonomy-oriented attitude of father had no correlation with the motive of accomplishment.
3. Each dimension of the rearing attitude of mother had also a significant correlation with the motive of accomplishment. That was, the motive of accomplishment by boys had a significant correlation with the maternal accomplishment-oriented, affection-oriented, rationality-oriented and autonomy-oriented attitudes. On the other hand, the motive of accomplishment by girls had a correlation with the mother's attitude for affection-oriented, rationality-oriented, accomplishment-oriented and autonomy-oriented patterns. Especially, the motive of accomplishment by boys was shown to have the highest correlation with the mother's affection-oriented attitude.
4. The boy's motive of accomplishment was most highly influenced by the rationality-oriented attitude of father and the accomplishment-oriented attitude of mother respectively.
5. The girl's motive of accomplishment was the most highly influenced by the rationality-oriented attitude of father and the affection-oriented attitude of mother.
