병원 외래 간호업무 구성 양상 분석 연구 : K 의료원의 사례를 중심으로 = (A) Study and Analysis of Structural Aspect of Nursing Duty for Out patients of the Hospital

This study has analyzed the structural aspect of nrusing duty for the outpatients of the hospital through observation and investigation conducted for 6 days from June 19, 1999 through June 23rd 324 times by way of duty standard investigation with 56 nurses working for outpatients in 12 departments of one university hospital as the objects of the study.
The result was computerized by using SPSS/PC+ by investigating outpatients examination and treatment results per department of exam and treatment, duty structural aspects of the nurse per nursing field, duty structural aspects of assistant nurse, analysis of the difference of duty structure between nurse and assistant nurse, and the quantity of nursing duty of outpatient nurse.
The followings are the results of the study;
1) The results of the analysis of structural aspect of nursing duty for outpatients that the rate of ordinary duty for outpatients was highest followed by favorable communication and treatment nursing in the rate.
2) The importance of direct nursing activity appeared to have been higher when we compare with the former studies in the distribution of outpatient duty of the nurse.
3) Quantity of nursing duty of outpatient nurse was 85.98%.
4) Direct nursing hours which is the original duty of the nurse schould be expanded as the business automation has been already settled and the degree of service satisfaction of the patients should be elevated by using such hours of direct nursing.
