The purpose of this paper was to analyze types of conflict occured in personal relation of children. and illuminate character of children's conflict situation and effects behavior types for conflict annulment.
Studying problem is the same as follows.
1. What is type of personal conflicts that children experience?
2. Do frequency of conflicts have a difference in each grade and man and female?
3. Is children's intelligence. recognition of home environment. and introversion and out torversion of character a variable reaching effects to behavior types in an important conflict situation?
To verify this problem, 200 children(male 100, female 100) of Kwangju M elementary school were selected.
The first questionarie was used to know conflict types of children. the second questionarie was used to know good tendency of conflict behavior. Verification method was used with t verification, and F verification.
The results are the same as follows.
1. Personal conflicts of elementary school students were reflected, in turn. as conflict with parents, conflict with teachers, conflict with friends and conflict types with general person. Seriousness about conflict situation was reflected with oppositive order. Conflict contents in each types appeared as follows: desire of self-control and parents' interference problem in the parents' relation, Partiality and lack of understanding in the teacher's relation. the friend's behavior in fringing personality in the friend's relation, and strong man's arrogance on weak man in the general person's relation. Seriousness on conflict situation showed similiar tendency.
2. Difference of frequency experiencing conflicts low school year students showed that school girlselicited conflict in the general person relation. Seriousness showed that school girls elicited conflicts in the friendship and school boys elicited high reaction.
3. Finally, Children's group that have high intelligence and children's group that regard home environment positively like desirable behavior types better tha children's group of low level.
Especially, School girls showed that high children's group gave a clear difference than low children's group in good tendency of conflict gegavior, accordingly. Types of conflict behavior can be measured by personal charicter variables such as intelligence and psychological home environment.
