직업윤리교육의 강화방안에 관한 연구 = (The) Study of Method to Strengthen the Education of Vocational Ethics

국문 초록 (Abstract)

직업은 현대인에게 있어서 필수적인 생계유지 수단이며 나아가 자아를 실현하고 사회에 기여하는 방법으로서 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 따라서 직업을 바르게 선택하고 개인에게 주어진 직업에 대해 어떤 의식과 의무를 가지고 어떻게 일을 수행하느냐 하는 것이 오늘날 우리 사회의 중요한 문제의 하나인 직업윤리의 과제이다. 본 연구는 이러한 직업윤리의 문제를 풀어나가기 위하여 그 방안으로 현행 직업윤리교육을 개선·강화하는 방안을 모색하였다.
현재 학교에서 실시되고 있는 직업윤리교육현황의 내용을 살펴보면 고등학교에서는 윤리 교과에서 주로 실시하고 있고, 대학의 교육과정에서는 주로 일반 교양교육에서 다루고 있다. 사회에서는 직업교육 기관에서 행해지는 직무교육이나 기업에서 행해지는 정신교육 등이다. 이러한 현행 학교교육과 사회교육에서 공통으로 나타나는 직업윤리교육의 문제점은 교육기회의 부족과 비체계적이고 비현실적인 교육내용, 지식위주의 이론 강의, 교재개발과 강사 문제, 그리고 교육체계와 사회분위기 등에서 야기되는 직업윤리에 대한 무관심과 의식의 약화 등이다.
이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위한 직업윤리교육의 강화 방안은 첫째, 직업윤리교육의 목적과 위상을 정립하는 일이다. 학교에서의 직업윤리교육은 사회윤리와 진로지도를 직접적인 목적으로 다루어 과정을 필수화 하며 사회에서는 단순히 회사 경영 차원의 정신교육이나 노사관계교육으로서가 아니라 직업과 직장에 대한 긍지를 심어주고 직장을 통해 의미있는 삶을 살 수 있도록 하기 위하여 실시하며 중요성이 강조되어야 한다.
둘째, 교육내용을 체계적으로 편성하는 것이다. 학교에서는 시수를 확대하고 내용은 윤리적 성격을 중시하여 직업인으로서 직업과 사회적 영향을 조화있게 강조해야 한다. 기업에서는 직장에 대한 개인적, 사회적 책임과 의무 등 공동체 생활의 윤리문제를 다루어야 하며 학교와 사회의 특징을 살리되 연계되도록 해야 한다.
셋째, 실질적인 교육방법을 개발하는 것이다. 교육의 방법은 새로운 것이라기 보다는 기존의 방법들을 교육의 내용과 환경에 맞게 그 장단점을 잘활용하는 것이다. 내용과 관련하여 볼 때 가치판단 능력, 가치관의 실천분야에 맞는 방법을 사용하되 가급적 탐구식 기법을 활용하도록 해야 한다.
마지막으로, 제도의 보완과 환경을 개선하기 위하여 직업윤리를 전문적으로 다루는 기관을 설립하여 교재연구·편찬, 방법개발, 담당자의 안수, 강사의 양성 등에 힘써야 한다. 그리고 교육관계의 업무를 담당하고 있는 관계자들이 직업윤리교육에 대해 적극적인 태도를 가질 수 있도록 학교의 관리자나 기업의 경영자들은 직업윤리교육면에 관심을 가져야 하며 솔선수범하여 직업윤리가 정착될 수 있는 분위기를 조성해야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Vocation is the necessary means for modern man to maintain livelihood, and it has the important meaning as the means to realize oneself and to contribute to the society. Therefore how to choose rightly the vocation and how to perform it(the vocation) with firm conviction and strong sence of duty are the tasks of vocational ethics as one of important problems of our society.
In this study I tried to seek the method to strengthen and revise the present education of vocational ethics in order to solve the above mentioned problems of vocational ethics.
When I saw the contents of the recent educational situation of vocational ethics which the students were learning in the school, I found that in high schools the students were learning vocational ethics in the coruse of national ethics, and in college educational course the college students were learning it(vocational ethics) in the course of general culture education. In Korean society, the educational institute of vocation has the course of vocational ethics. When the enterprises of Korea educate employees for the spiritual education they are learning vocational ethics. The problems which appeared in the recent (present) education of vocational ethics in school and society are ignorance and indifference to vocational ethics because of lack of educational opportunity, (and) unsystematic and unreal contents of education, (and) lecture to emphasize only knowledge and quality of lecturers.
In order to solve these problems the methods to strengthen the education of vocational ethics are the following ;
At first, the education of vocational ethics should be emphasized and in the regular curriculum of school education, vocational ethics should be necessary course which contains social ethics and job guidance.
At second, the contents of education of vocational ethics should be composed systematically. The students in schools should listen to more Olessons of vocational ethics in which the students as the future workers will be taught the harmony between worker's moral and social influence of worker. In the enterprises the education of vocational ethics should contain the ethical problems of community life in which the school education and the society have cooperative relation.
At third, the real method of the education of vocational ethics should be developed. If we create new method of education, it will be good. We should make use of the merit of the traditional method according to the contents and situations in the education of vocational ethics. The contents of the education of vocational ethics should contain cultivation of ability for value judgement, and practising worker's value in the society and tecnique of invetigation.
Finally, in order to strengthen the method of vocational ethical education, the institute of vocational ethics should be established. This institute should study and develope the textbook of vocational ethics, the teaching method of vocational ethics. This institute should educate teachers of vocational ethics and should educate fresh teachers of vocational ethics.
