特殊學校 敎師의 職務滿足度에 關한 分析的 硏究 = (An) analytic study on the job satisfaction of the special school teachers

A. The necessity of study
If teachers are much satisfied with jobs, they get the result of their efforts in education because they find themselves worth working for the school organization and contribute to it, buy if not satisfied with jobs, it is hard for them to get the result of their efforts in education. Especially, today's important subject in the compulsory education for the handicapped is to give an opportunity to learn to all children by improving the quality of education for the handicapped and forming the education contents most suitable for children's unique desire in education.
However, a main factor to determine success or fail of education for the handicapped depends on special school teachers' activities, and in order to produce satisfactory results in education for the handicapped, because the job satisfaction of special school teachers has an impact on the improvement of the quality of education for the handicapped, it is necessary for this study to be performed to find a program that they can give full play to their ability with pride and a sense of duty by finding out factors on the job satisfaction of special school teachers.
B. The purpose of study
The purse of this study is to find out the problems to improve the job satisfaction of special school teacher by grasping the actual conditions on the satisfaction and comparing, analyzing by variable factors on the satisfaction.
C. The method of study
The method of study was to set up theoretical grouds by literatures study and to select an on-the-spot survey through questionnaires by making out question items by factors on the job satisfaction of special school teachers.
This study made teachers in eight special school(two, public and six, private) in chungbuk the object of investigation.
And 203 questionnaires were directly distributed to the teachers and were mailed out, and then 200 copies among them were gathered (gathering rate, 98.5%), and 199 copies available among them were used as investigation data.
The instrument of investigation was a questionnaire which was made out with 30 items in 7 domains by using the standard on the job satisfaction of teachers of Likert style developed by Korean Teacher Opinionaire (K.T.O)
The data of each question were treated by a five-stage-rating standard method, the special difference by each factor was verified by calculating χ^2, and the statistics of data were treated with computer by SPSS program.
D. The conclusion of study
The conclusion of this study is as follows ;
1. In comparison by the distinction of sex, both men and women teachers were satisfied with human relations and the job in charge, but women teacher were more dissatisfied with work environment, all kinds of trainings and studies.
2. Special school teachers had negative responses on reward system and the recognition of social position.
3. They were dissatisfied with factors such as promotion and welfare related to their situation, and especially teachers with less careers were much more dissatisfied.
4. Analysis showed that they were satisfied with the support of instruction and instruction, while dissatisfied with recognition of position outside school, and especially teachers in private schools were more dissatisfied with facilities, welfare, the offer of chance of training, and the necessity of the instruction in encouragement of learning than teachers in public ij national schools.
5. In comparison by the possession of license, teachers with license were dissatisfied with training and study, and teachers without license with job environment of local community and administration management.
