The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation to the time conflict level, time management strategies and home managerial satisfaction of employed wives, and to find out the most influential factor in them.
The research issues are as follows :
1. What are the home-environment and work-environment variables influencing to the time conflict level, time management strategies and home managerial satisfaction?
2. How are the time management strategies and the home managerial satisfaction affected by the time conflict level of employed wives?
3. How are the home managerial satisfaction affected by the time management strategies of employed wives?
4. How much are the effect of the variables on the home. managerial satisfaction of employed wives?
For the purpose of this study, 468 questionnaire were distributed to the employed wives living in Pusan.
The data were analyzed by the statistical methods such as t-test, ONEWAY ANOVA, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, Pearson's correlation, Multiple Regression Analysis.
All the analyses were done by SPSS PC^(+) program.
The significant results are as follows :
1. According to the home-environment and the work-environment variables there were some difference among the time conflict level, the time management strategies and the home managerial satisfaction.
2. Time management strategies and home managerial satisfaction differ significantly according to the time conflict level of employed wives.
3. Home managerial satisfaction was not significant according to the time management strategies of employed wives.
4. The relative importance of independent variables on home managerial satisfaction of employed wives showed time conflict level (β=-.41), job satisfaction (β=.29), goal setting strategy (β=.19), organizing strategy (β=.17). income (β=.11), evaluating strategy (β=.10), compromising strategy (β=.09).
This regression model showed that 47 percent of the home managerial satisfaction could be accounted for by independent variables.
The results of this study can be attributed to develop the efficient strategy of reducing time conflict of employed wives and to explore the ways of employed wives' welfare progress.
