초현실주의 미술사조가 현대패션에 미친 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대사회에 이르러 급진적으로 발전하고 변화하는 사회 문화적인 환경에 따라 이 시대의 독특한 상황은 나름대로의 가치를 추구하게 되었고, 이것은 문학, 미술, 음악, 연극, 무용 등의 예술 전반에 걸쳐 공통적인 변화의 조류를 형성하게 되었다.이런 현상은 패션에도 같은 맥락으로 반영되어 현대사회의 다양한 현상과 위기의식, 복잡한 상황들이 패션의 다양한 조류와 경향 등으로 표현되고 있다.
현대사회에 있어서 패션은 산업화, 기계화의 결과로 획일화되는 현대인들의 생활속에서 자아를 확립하고 자신을 표출하는 수단이 되었고, 더 나아가 다양한 예술양식의 한 표현으로 까지 나타나고 있다. 패션은 그 시대의 반영으로 완벽한 표현으로서 특히 인간의 내적 이미지 세계를 표현하는 예술과 밀접하게 연관되어 있다. 이러한 관점에서 패션과 미술사조를 연관지어 고찰하는 것은 의미있는 일이다.
본 논문은 20세기의 다양한 미술사조 중에서도 패션디자인에 영감을 주고 새로운 방향을 제시하였을 뿐만아니라, 패션잡지, 패션일러스트레이션, 패션광고, 패션사진, 패션디스플레이, 악세사리 디자인 등 패션 전반에 영향을 미친 초현실주의를 중심으로 초현실주의와 현대패션과의 상호연관성을 살펴보았다. 즉 한 시대의 미술사조인 초현실주의가 패션의 원천으로서 어떻게 패션디자인에 영감을 줄 수 있으며 현대패션에 구체적으로 어떻게 수용되고 표현되었는지를 문헌조사와 초현실주의 작가들의 작품과 패션디자이너들의 작품을 표집하여 그것을 토대로 고찰하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Because the societal and cultural surroundings of the modern society are rapidly changed and developed, the unique situation came to seek after its own value and it also formed the trend of common change in such comprehensive art areas as a literature, a play, a music, art and a dance. And this phenomenon was reflected in fashion and expressed in a various trends of fashion which contained many phenomena and crisis senses of modern society.
In the modern society, fashion has become the instrument that establish the sense of self and express oneself in the uniform life of contemporary persons resulting from industrialization and mechanization, and at the same time it came to be one of a various types of art. Fashion is the mirror of ages which we live and especially it is closely connected with expressing the internal images of human beings.
This paper is about the interrelationship of surrealism and a modern fashion centering on surrealism which influenced fashion magazines, fashion illustration, fashion ads, fashion photographs, fashion display and accessary design and affected fashion design as well. That is, this paper examined how surrealism affected fashion design as the source of a fashion, how it accepted and expressed in the fashion design. To achieve this purpose, this paper was based on considering many documents, surrealistic artist's works, and fashion designers.
