      The purposes of this study are to find the effect of the Study Habit Improvement Program based on the Learning Strategy on Study Habit, Motivation and Academic Achievement.
      On this purpose I try to find Learning Strategy, Study Habit, Motivation and relation between three of them.
      The hypotheses for this purpose are as follows:
      <hypothesis 1>
      After the progress of Study Habit Improvement Program, Study Habit will be improved in the experimental group than in the control group.
      <hypothesis 2>
      After the progress of Study Habit Improvement Program, Motivation will be improvement in the experimental group than in the control group.
      <hypothesis 3>
      After the progress of Study Habit Improvement Program, Academic Achievement will be improved in the experimental group than in the control group.
      In order to test the hypothesis, the author of this thesis conducted Study Habit Test which is made by Kim, Ki-Suk for 52 freshmen at a girls I middle school in seoul.
      Among them, 20 sampling students out of 29 students, the lower group at 25%, are set at random in two groups respectively.
      Study Habit Improvement Program was only taken in experimental group. Study Habit Improvement Program is changed by the level of samples which is based on pre-program, cognitive program, meta-cognitive program and group counseling program.
      The analysis of materials was conducted by spss/pc^+, centering on T-test.
      The results of this thesis run as follows:
      1. Study Habit between the experimental group and the control group has a meaningful difference within the scope of 1% in the post -test.
      2. Motivation between the experimental group and the control group has a meaningful difference within the scope of 5% in the post-test.
      3. Academic Achievement between the experimental group and the control group in the post-test does not have a meaningful difference within the scope of 1% and 5%. However, examing the point average carefully, the experimentalgroup in comparison with the control group has a tendency of improvement, so I conclude that it means an effectiveness of Study Habit Improvement Program.
      The conclusion in this study study shows the followings:
      1. Study Habit Improvement Program based on the Learning Strategy has an effect in improving Study Habit.
      2. Study Habit Improvement Program based on the Learning Strategy has an effect in improving Motivation.
      3. Study Habit Improvement Program based on the Learning Strategy has an effect in improving Academic Achievement.
      In conclusion, the application of Study Habit Improvement Program in school will help its effect in carrying out more effective and desirable Academic Achievement.
