고전명리학에 나타난 운의 개념과 적용원리에 대한 연구 = A Study on the Concept of Fortune(運) and Its Application Principles in Classical Mingli

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 고전 명리학 문헌에 나타난 ‘運‘의 개념과 해석 방식을 심층적으로 고찰하고, 고전 명리학에서 大運이 命에 어떻게 작용하며, 大運의 天干과 地支가 구분 적용 되는지 통합 적용 되는지를 확인하고 체계적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 오늘날 명리학은 다양한 상담 현장과 예측 실무에서 활발히 사용되고 있으나, ‘運’의 작용 원리에 대한 해석 기준은 명확하지 않으며, 고전 이론과 현대 실천 사이의 괴리가 존재한다.
이에 본 논문은 문헌 기반 연구를 통해 고전 문헌에서 제시된 運의 철학적 기초와 작용 원리를 정리하고, 그 공통 해석 틀을 도출하여 현대 명리 실무에 대한 적용 가능성과 한계를 검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
연구 방법은 문헌 해석 중심이며, 주요 분석 대상은 『삼명통회(三命通會)』, 『연해자평(淵海子平)』, 『명리약언(命理約言)』, 『자평진전(子平眞詮)』, 『적천수천미(滴天髓闡微)』, 의 다섯 고전 명리학 문헌이다. 각 문헌은 운 해석에 대한 고유의 관점과 논리를 지니고 있어 운 작용의 이론적 토대를 다각도로 제공한다. 본 연구는 이러한 문헌들을 비교 분석하여 1) 大運 적용 시 大運 간지의 적용 방식과 2) 歲運과 大運의 상호작용 구조, 3) 運의 적용으로 인한 길흉의 판단과 해석 규칙 등을 정리하였다.
또한 현대 명리학의 관점에서 『세운해법(歲運解法)』, 『사주첩경(四柱捷徑)』, 『아베타이잔전집(阿部泰山全集)』를 참고하여 고전 이론이 실제 상담에 어떻게 적용되며, 어떤 왜곡이나 축소가 발생하는지를 검토하였다.
본 연구는 고전 명리학의 해석을 모두 취합하여 체계화된 운 이론으로 재정립함으로써 현대 명리학의 해석 기초를 공고히 하는 데에 이바지하고자 한다. 특히 고전 문헌의 다층적 해석 틀을 발굴함으로써, 단편적인 상담 기법이나 통념적 해석에 대한 대안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구는 현대 명리학의 상담과 예측에서 運의 본질을 더 정교하게 해석하는 데 기초가 되며, 학문적⋅실천적 차원에서 명리학의 발전에 이바지할 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study attempted to examine in-depth the concept and interpretation method of Fortune (Yun) in classical Ming Confucian literature, to determine how Daeun acts on the Ming in classical Ming Confucianism, how the heaven and support of Daeun are applied separately, and to find out systematically and whether they are applied in an integrated manner. Although Ming Confucianism is actively used in various counseling sites and prediction practices today, the interpretation criteria for the principle of action of Fortune (Yun) are not clear, and there is a gap between classical theory and modern practice.
To address this issue, the present research undertakes a text-centered analysis of the philosophical foundations and operational principles of yun in major classical sources. The primary texts examined include Sam-myeong Tonghoe(三命通會), Yeon-hae Japyeong(淵海子平), Myeongni Yak-eon(命理約言), Japyeong Jinjeon(子平眞詮), and Jeok-cheon-su Cheonmi(滴天髓闡微). Each of these works offers a distinct perspective and interpretive logic regarding the workings of un, thereby providing a multifaceted theoretical basis. By comparing and synthesizing these sources, the study organizes and clarifies: (1) the mode of application of the Daeyun Ganji cycle, (2) the structural interaction between Annual Fortune (Seyun 歲運) and Daeyun, and (3) the interpretive rules for determining auspicious and inauspicious outcomes arising from the activation of un.
From a contemporary standpoint, the research also consults Sewun Haebeop(歲運解法), Saju Cheopgyeong(四柱捷徑), and the Abe Taizan Complete Collection (阿部泰山全集) to assess how classical theories are adapted in present-day practice and to identify distortions or reductions that occur in the course of practical application.
By integrating the interpretive schemes dispersed across foundational texts, this study aims to reconstruct a coherent and systematic theory of un, thus reinforcing the theoretical foundations of modern Mingli analysis. In particular, it uncovers the multilayered interpretive structures embedded in classical literature and offers alternatives to fragmentary or overly simplified methods common in contemporary consulting practice. Such work contributes both academically and practically to refining the understanding of un and enhancing the precision of counseling and prediction within modern Mingli studies.
