初等 敎師의 性格 類型과 敎職觀과의 關係

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초등 교사들의 성격 유형과 교직관과의 관계를 구명하고자 실시한 연구이다. 이를 추진하기 위하여 광주와 전남 지역의 남교사 114명과 여교사 120명을 대상으로 다음과 같은 예언을 설정하여 추진하였다.
1. MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator)의 성격 검사에서 내향적 태도가 높은 사람이 외향적 태도가 높은 사람 보다 더 많이 교직을 선호 할 것이다.
2. MBTI 성격 검사에서 내향적 태도가 높은 사람이 외향적 태도가 높은 사람보다 더 바람직한 교직관을 갖고 있을 것이다.
3. MBTI 성격의 하위 기능형 간에는 교직관에서 의미있는 차를 보일 것이다. 그 결과를 보면
첫째, 내향적 성격 소유자가 외향성의 성격 소유자 보다 교직을 더 선호하고 있으며, 내향성 중에서 내향성 감각형이 가장 많이 선호하고 있었다.
둘째, 성격 유형에 따라 커다란 교직관 차이는 없었으나, 성격의 여러 하위 기능형 중에서 판단형, 감각형, 외향적 직관형, 내향적 감각형, 감각적 판단형, 직관적 인식형인 성격의 교사들이 교직관의 하위 영역중 일부분에서 더 바람직한 교육관을 가지고 있었다.
위와같은 결과로 미루어 보아 예비 교사의 선발에서 MBTI 성격 검사의 이용은 신중한 고려가 있어야 한다. 그러나 성격의 하위 기능형에서 많은 시사점을 제공해 주고 있으므로 예비교사의 선발에서 성격 유형을 깊이 고려할 필요성은 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is examine the relationship betwen personality type and the teaching profession's view of the elementary school teacher for this study, the subjects were 114 man teachers and 120 woman teachers in KWANG JU and CHONNAM area.
The prediction was as follows:
1.The introvert would like better the teaching profession than the extrovert in MBTI ( Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ).
2.The introvert would have more desirable view of the teaching profession then the extrovert in MBTI.
3.It would be the significant difference betwen subfunctions of MBTI in the teaching profession's view.
The result showed as follows:
1.The introvert liked better the teaching profession than the extrovert,and especially ISTJ (Introversion,Sensing,Thinking, Judging) liked best it among type of the introvert.
2.There was no large difference the teaching profession's view according to personality type, but J(Judging), S(sensing), EN(Extraversion, Intuition) , IS( Introversion,Sensing) , SJ(Sensing, Judging), NP( Intuition, Perceiving) had the best desirable view of teaching profession among the subfunction of personality.
To see this result,the use of MBTI there is a deliberate consideration that MBTI is used in selection the preliminary teachers. but,this gave us a lot of suggestion in the subfunction of personality, we had better consider personality type.
