In this paper, the network of independence movement forces in Gyeongsang-do in the 1910s and 20s was examined, and their provisional government activities were examined. The Japanese colonial rule, which robbed Japan of its sovereignty, sought to stabilize the political situation through repression. Against this backdrop, domestic independence movement organizations were secretly active in the 1910s. Therefore, it is difficult to grasp the relationship between independence activists in the 1910s.
Meanwhile, the provisional government was established with the aim of denying the Japanese imperialist invasion and colonial rule and leading the anti-Japanese independence movement. The value of the provisional government is that it pursued a 'democratic republic'. Therefore, the people in the provisional government should be an important topic. However, most of the domestic activities of the provisional government were secret activities. Secret activities are difficult to leave related data unless the substance is discovered. However, the fact that there was a certain system means that there was an organization and person accordingly. Therefore, tracking people or organizations related to provisional government activities helps reveal provisional government activities.
First, the formation process of the Gyeongsang-do independence movement was examined. In the process of analyzing the historical data, it was confirmed that Yun Sang-tae and Seo Sang-il-centered organizations represented Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Baeksan Sang-hoe represented Gyeongsangnam-do. They were also closely related to the early provisional government.
Next, it was confirmed how the provisional government tried to connect with Korea. To this end, after analyzing the figures from Gyeongsang-do who worked in the Korea Provisional Congress, we looked at the 'persons sent from the Provisional Government to the Korean Peninsula'.
Finally, the network of the Gyeongsang-do independence movement forces was analyzed to reveal the central figure. They had the following characteristics. First, there are many educated people. Second, a large number of people engaged in commerce are included. Third, the characters' subsequent participation in society is remarkable. Fourth, they did not simply belong to a single organization, but had relationships in more various ways such as academic, economic relations, delay, and blood ties.
This was a study to understand the relationship between the provisional government and the forces of the Gyeongsang-do independence movement, which were previously insufficient, and a process of filling the gap in the network. This requires continuous review due to the vastness of the subject and the confidentiality of the activity.
