空亡의 사주 적용에 대한 硏究

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사주명리학(四柱命理學)에 적용되는 공망(空亡)이론과 그 유형들에 대한 연구를 통하여 공망(空亡)을 사주 간명에 적용하는 정확한 추론법(推論法)의 찾는데 목적이 있다. 시대를 거쳐 오면서 공망(空亡)의 유형과 그에 따른 이론은 다양성을 갖게 되었다. 그러나 구체적이지 않은 이론들이 유행하면서 학인들과 술사들에게 혼란만 야기하여 사주 간명에서 공망(空亡)의 수용(受容)에 대한 비판의 한 원인이 되었다.
본 연구는 『삼명통회(三命通會)』와 『연해자평(淵海子平)』등 명리고전들을 기본으로 하여 과거에서 현재에 이르기까지 구체적이고 실제적으로 활용되어지는 이론들과 유형을 추출하여 설명하였다. 고법명리체계(古法命理體系)와 신법명리체계(新法命理體系) 모두를 대상으로 하였으며 실제적으로 활용되는 공망(空亡)유형들을 정리하고 통합하여 사주 적용에 있어 명확성을 갖추고자 하였다.
공망(空亡)이론들을 추출하는데 있어서는 다양한 공망(空亡) 유형들의 근원적 내용을 살펴 우선적으로 순중공망(旬中空亡)에서 파생되어 나온 유형들을 통합 정리하였다. 오행공망(五行空亡)은 천간공망(天干空亡)을 표출하기 위한 일련의 과정에서 파생한 공망(空亡)의 한 유형이므로 순중공망(旬中空亡)에 통합 정리하였다. 십악대패일(十惡大敗日), 호환공망(互換空亡) 또한 순중공망(旬中空亡)과 관계에 있는 것이므로 별도의 유형으로 분류하지 않고 순중공망(旬中空亡)에 통합하였다. 사대공망(四大空亡)과 태월공망(胎月空亡)에 대해서는 자평명리체계로의 변화함에 따라 현대사주명리에서는 더 이상 활용되지 않으므로 사주(四柱) 적용에서 배제하고 공망(空亡)의 사주 적용 체계를 제시하였다.
공망(空亡)의 사주 적용 방법을 제시함으로서 공망(空亡)의 사주추론법(四柱推論法)을 세우고 사주 간명에서 공망(空亡)의 활용도를 높이고자 하였다. 그 내용을 정리하면, 첫째, 일주(日柱)를 기준하여 공망(空亡)을 추론한다. 둘째, 순중공망(旬中空亡)을 기본으로 사주(四柱)에 적용하고 순중공망(旬中空亡)이 사주팔자(四柱八字) 내(內)의 지지(地支) 네(四)글자 중에 표출되었을 경우에만 한정하여 공망(空亡)을 사주(四柱)에 적용한다. 셋째, 천간공망(天干空亡)을 사주(四柱) 적용할 때 무조건적 적용이 아닌 전제된 상황을 우선적으로 파악 후 적용 여부를 파악한다. 넷째, 궁위공망(宮位空亡)을 적용하여 분석한다. 다섯째, 십신공망(十神空亡)을 적용하여 분석한다. 궁위공망(宮位空亡)과 십신공망(十神空亡)은 서로 밀접하게 연결되어 있으므로 복합적으로 적용하여야 한다. 여섯째, 공망(空亡)의 해공(解空) 여부를 분석 적용한다. 이를 위해 사주(四柱)내의 합·충·형(合·冲·刑)등의 지지(地支)의 간섭들과 운에 의한 간섭을 파악하여 해공(解空) 여부룰 분석하고 그것을 사주(四柱)추론에 적용한다.
본 연구의 학문적 의의는 실증적이고 유효성 있게 공망(空亡)이론의 사주 적용체계를 갖춤으로 사주추론(四柱推論)의 정확도를 높이고, 더 나아가 사주 통변의 발전에 기여할 수 있다는 점이다. 아무쪼록 본 연구가 공망(空亡)을 신살(神殺)이론의 한 범주가 아닌 사주(四柱)간명의 독립된 요소로 발전시킴으로서 공망(空亡)의 활용성을 높이고, 공망(空亡)이론을 적용한 사주(四柱) 간명으로 미래의 피흉추길(避凶追吉)에 작은 도움이라도 되기를 바란다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to find the effectiveness of the application of the Emptiness(空亡) to the Four Pillars of Destiny by an in-depth reinterpretation of the theory and types of the Emptiness. As time passes, the types and theories of Emptiness have also been diversified. However, as non-specific and unpersuasive theories were popular, only confusion was caused by scholars and Four Pillars practitioners, which was one of the reasons for criticism for the acceptance of the Emptiness.
This study aims to find and explain the theories and types of Emptiness that were specifically and practically used from the past to the present based on the classics such as 『Sam-myeong-tong-hoe』 and 『Yeon-hae-ja-pyeong』. Efforts were made to identify the types as specifically and clearly as possible, to organize and to integrate the types that can actually be used, and to ensure clarity in the application of them to fortune-telling.
By examining the fundamental contents of various types of Emptiness, the types derived from Soon-Joong Emptiness were integrated and summarized. Oh-Haeng(Five Elements) Emptiness is a type of Emptiness that was made into a series of processes to express Cheon-Gan Emptiness and is integrated into Soon-Joong Emptiness. Furthermore, since the Sib-Ak-Dae-Pae-Il and Ho-Hwan Emptiness are also in the relationship of Soon-Joong Emptiness with each other, they were not classified as separate types, rather were integrated into Soon-Joong Emptiness. Sa-Dae Emptiness and Tae-Wol Emptiness were no longer used in the modern era of the Four Pillars of Destiny system due to changes in the analyzing method turning into the Ja-Pyeong system. Therefore, they were excluded from the application of the Four Pillars of Destiny system to establish the application of Emptiness in the Four Pillars of Destiny system.
In addition, by presenting a method of applying the Emptiness to the Four Pillars System, the reasoning method of the Emptiness was established to increase the utilization of the Emptiness. Firstly, the Emptiness is inferred based on the Day Pillar in the Four Pillars system. Secondly, Soon-Joong Emptiness is applied to the Four Pillars as a basis, and the Emptiness applies to Four Pillars only when Soon-Joong Emptiness matches the Earthly Branches in Eight Characters. Thirdly, in the application of Cheon-Gan Emptiness to the Four Pillars system, a careful review must be preceded to decide whether to apply or not. Fourthly, Gung-Wi Emptiness should be applied for analysis. Fifthly, Sib-Sin Emptiness should be applied for analysis. As Gung-Wi Emptiness and Sib-Sin Emptiness are closely relevant, they must be synthetically applied. Sixthly, Emptiness should be applied after analyzing its dissolution. The dissolution of Emptiness would be applied with the identification of interfering on Earthly Branches and the fortune of a year by Combinations(合), Conflicts(冲), Punishments(刑) in a birth chart.
By establishing an empirical and effective application system for the Emptiness to the Four Pillars of Destiny system, this study is to maximize the accuracy of the reasoning in Four Pillars, and further contribute to the Four Pillars of Destiny system. By developing the concept of the Emptiness, not as a category of the Special Stars, rather as an independent factor in the Four Pillars of Destiny system, it is intended in this thesis to maximize the utilization of the Emptiness and to enhance the interpretation of Four Pillars of Destiny system, in a way people will be positively benefited.
