부모의 감정불인정과 관계중독간의 관계에서 거부민감성의 매개효과 = The mediating effects of rejection sensitivity in the relationship between parental invalidation of emotion and relationship addiction

The purpose of this study was to examine whether parental invalidation of
emotion, rejection sensitivity, and relationship addiction were related to early
adulthood males and females, and furthermore, the mediating effects of rejection
sensitivity in the relationship between parental invalidation of emotion and
relationship addiction. To this end, this study conducted an online survey on 311
males and females aged 17-40 using perceived parental invalidation of emotion
scale, rejection sensitivity scale, and relationship addiction scale. Based on the data
collected, correlation analysis was conducted to confirm the relationship between
major variables, and a mediated model verification was conducted to explore if
rejection sensitivity mediates in the relationship between parental invalidation of
emotion and relationship addiction. The analysis results of this study are as
follows. First, parental invalidation of emotion, relationship addiction, and rejection
sensitivity showed statistically significant positive correlations. Second, there was
a statistical significant difference between father and mother’s invalidation of
emotion by early adulthood male and female, and it was found that father’s
invalidation of emotion was perceived higher than mother’s. Third, the relationship
between parental invalidation of emotion and relationship addiction was fully
mediated by rejection sensitivity. Implications and limitations of this study and
future research suggestions were discussed

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초기 성인기 남녀를 대상으로 부모의 감정불인정과 거부민감성, 관계중독이 각각 상관이 있는지, 더 나아가 부모의 감정불인정과 관계중독간의 관계에서 거부민감성이 매개하는지를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 초기 성인기에 해당하는 만 17-40세의 남녀 311명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 측정도구로는 부모의 감정불인정 척도, 거부민감성 척도, 관계중독 척도를 사용하였다. 수집한 자료를 바탕으로 상관분석을 실시하여 주요 변인들 간의 관계성을 확인하였고, 부모의 감정불인정과 관계중독간의 관계에서 거부민감성이 매개하는지 알아보기 위하여 매개모형 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부의 감정불인정, 모의 감정불인정, 거부민감성, 관계중독은 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초기 성인기 남녀가 성장과정에서 지각한 부와 모의 감정불인정은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 모보다 부의 감정불인정을 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 거부민감성이 부와 모의 감정불인정과 관계중독간의 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구가 지니는 의의와 제한점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.
