대학생이 지각한 부모의 심리적 통제와 관계적 공격성의 관계 : 인정욕구와 정신화의 매개효과 = The relationship between perceived parental pychological control and relational aggression of university students: the mediating effects of need for approval and mentalization

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생이 지각한 부모의 심리적 통제와 관계적 공격성의 관계에서 인정욕구와 정신화(확실성, 불확실성)의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대구, 경북, 부산, 경남에 소재하는 300명의 대학생에 대한 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 최종 277명의 자료를 분석하였다(평균 연령 21.5, 남성 155, 여성 122). 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 21.0 및 Hayes(2019)의 PROCESS macro를 사용하였으며, Bootstrapping 방법으로 간접 효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인정욕구는 부모의 심리적 통제와 관계적 공격성의 관계에서 부분매개효과를 나타내었다. 둘째, 부모의 심리적 통제와 관계적 공격성의 관계에서 확실성은 매개효과를 나타내지 않았지만, 불확실성은 부분매개효과를 나타내었다. 셋째, 부모의 심리적 통제와 관계적 공격성의 관계에서 인정욕구와 확실성은 이중매개효과를 나타내지 않았으나, 인정욕구와 불확실성은 순차적인 이중매개효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 대학생의 관계적 공격성을 완화하기 위해서 부모의 심리적 통제뿐만 아니라 인정욕구와 정신화에 대한 상담 개입이 필요함을 시사한다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 결론, 시사점 및 향후 연구 방향을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of need for approval and mentalization(RFQ-C, RFQ-U) in the relationship between perceived parental psychological control and relational aggression of university students. For this purpose, a survey questionnaire was carried out for 300 university students in Daegu city, Gyeonsangbuk-do, Busan City, and Gyeonsangnam-do. Ultimately 277 data were used for the analysis(Average age 21.5, Male 155, Female 122). The research measurement instrument used were Psychological Control Scale-Youth Self-Report(PCS-YSR), Relational Aggression Scale(RAS), The Revised Martin-Larsen Approval Motivation Scale(RMLAM), and Korean Reflective Functioning Questionnaire(KRFQ-12). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and Hayes’s (2019) PROCESS macro. In addition, indirect effect was verified by Bootstrapping method. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the need for approval partially mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and relational aggression. Second, RFQ-C did not mediating effect in the relationship between parental psychological control and relational aggression, but RFQ-U partially mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and relational aggression. Third, the need for approval and RFQ-U did not show a dual mediating effects in the relationship between parental psychological control and relational aggression. However, the sequential dual mediating effects of need for approval and RFQ-U in the relationship between parental psychological control and relational aggression were verified. Based on the results of this study, conclusions, implications, and future research direction were discussed.
