The purpose of this study was to investigate the direction of the future education by listening to the opinions of the teachers about the experiences of the forest experience and the Nuri curriculum. The sub-problem is as follows.
First, what is the current state of education management of forest experience and Nuri curriculum connection?
Second, what is the direction of future development of forest experience and Nuri curriculum connection?
The participants of this study were teachers and directors of kindergarten and daycare center who had experience in forest education for more than one year and 9 teachers who did not experience forest experience. Data were collected from February 19, 2018 to March 24, 2018, and the first individual interview was conducted and then the first group interview was conducted on April 3, 2018. After conducting the first group interview, based on the findings, we conducted the second group interview on April 25, 2018. The collected data were repeatedly read and analyzed by the experts after the analysis of the researchers. Finally, the researchers analyzed and read the analysis. The conclusions of this study are as follows.
First, the linkage between the forest experience and the Nuri curriculum was reflected in the actual field, which was difficult due to the increased workload of the teachers, the difficulty in systematic composition, and the inconsistency of the parents.
Second, the government recognized the philosophy of education in each country, and concluded that there is a possibility of development when the education about the connection between the forest experience and the Nuri curriculum is systematically established.
As a result of this study, there is a limitation in generalizing the relation between forest experience and Nuri curriculum. Therefore, in the follow-up study, focus groups should be diversified into various types of groups and studies should be conducted. In addition, further research should be conducted to increase the number of group interviews or to draw out various other experiences through small group discussions based on age, career, and types of forest experience.
Despite these limitations, I was able to hear the opinions of the teachers directly experienced on the field. Therefore, it will give great implications to future forest experience and Nuri curriculum connection education.
