성인 애착과 상담에 대한 기대 간의 관계에서 대인 존재감과 대인 신뢰감의 매개효과

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediation effect of mattering, interpersonal-trust upon the relationship of anxiety attachment, avoidance attachment and expectation about counseling in a college sample. Participants were 359 undergraduate and graduate students who completed the Experiences in Close Relationship-Revised(ECR-R), Expectation About Counseling(EAC), Korean-version of Mattering Scale, Interpersonal-trust.
In the correlation analysis, anxiety attachment, avoidance attachment, expectation about counseling, mattering and interpersonal-trust were intercorrelated. Expectation about counseling negatively correlated with avoidant attachment, and positively correlated with mattering and interpersonal-trust. But, expectation about counseling and anxiety attachment was not significant. Avoidant attachment negatively correlated with mattering and interpersonal-trust. Anxiety attachment negatively correlated with mattering and interpersonal-trust. Mattering positively correlated interpersonal-trust.
Multiple mediation analysis showed that the relationship of anxiety attachment and expectation about counseling was mediated by mattering and interpersonal-trust. The relationship of avoidance attachment and expectation about counseling was only mediated by mattering, whereas the mediation effect of the interpersonal-trust was not significant.
Implications and limitations of the study and the suggestions for further study were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 불안, 회피 애착과 상담에 대한 기대의 관계에서 대인 존재감 및 대인 신뢰감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이었다. 연구 대상은 만 19세 이상의 대학(원)생 359명으로, 그들은 친밀 관계 경험 개정판(ECR-R), 상담에 대한 기대 척도(EAC), 대인 존재감 척도, 대인 신뢰감 척도에 응답하였다.
상관분석 결과, 회피, 불안 애착, 상담에 대한 기대, 대인 존재감, 대인 신뢰감 간에는 유의미한 부적 상관이 있었다. 반면, 상담에 대한 기대는 대인 존재감, 대인 신뢰감과 정적 상관이 있었으며, 불안 애착과의 관계는 유의미하지 않았다. 다중매개분석 결과, 불안 애착과 상담기대의 관계는 대인 존재감과 대인 신뢰감이 각각 매개하였다. 반면 회피 애착과 상담 기대의 관계는 대인 존재감만이 매개효과를 보였고, 대인 신뢰감의 매개효과는 유의미하지 않았다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과의 의의와 한계, 그리고 후속연구를 위한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.
