부모와 함께한 문화예술 경험이 유아의 정서 및 사회성 발달에 미치는 영향 = Influence of cultural art experience with parents on children`s emotional and social development

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 부모와 함께한 문화예술경험이 유아의 정서 및 사회성 발달에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구는 전라북도 내 거주하는 4세 ~ 7세 유아 173명을 대상으로 하였다. 이에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모와 함께 한 문화예술경험이 유아의 정서 발달에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 부모와 함께 문화예술경험이 있는 유아가 부모와 함께 문화예술경험이 없는 유아에 비해 정서 발달에 있어서 유의미하게 높은 점수를 나타냈다. 하지만, 정서 발달의 하위영역인 정서조절 부분에서는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 부모와 함께 한 문화예술경험이 유아의 사회성 발달에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 부모와 함께 문화예술경험이 있는 유아가 부모와 함께 문화예술경험이 없는 유아에 비해 사회성 발달에 있어서 유의미 하게 높은 점수를 보였다. 하지만, 사회성 발달의 하위영역인 근면성 부분에서는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다.
현재, 보육기관 등에서 주최하는 문화예술을 경험할 수 있는 프로그램에 비해 부모와 함께 경험할 수 있는 프로그램은 부족한 실정이다.
따라서 향 후 정부 차원의 유아를 위한 정책이 다양한 영역의 참여와 부모와 함께 경험 할 수 있는 문화예술경험이 제시되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of culture and art experience with parents on the emotional and social development of children. The subjects in this study were 173 young children 4 to 7 years-old living in the North Jeolla Province. The results of this study are as follows:
First, in the results of analysing the effect of culture and art experience with parents on the emotional development of young children, the children with culture and art experience with their parents scored significantly higher than the children who do not have culture and art experience with their parents. However, significant differences were not showed in emotional regulation, the sub-factor of emotional development. Second, in the analysis of the influence of culture and art experience with parents on the social development of young children, the children with culture and art experience with their parents showed significantly higher level of social development than the children who do not have culture and art experience with their parents. However, there was no significant differences reported in diligence, the sub-factor of social development.
At present, compared with programs hosted by child-care centers, programs to experience culture and art with parents are insufficient.
In conclusion, the findings of this study suggested that more government policies on various culture and art experience with parents for young children.
