The main objective of this study is to examine the effects of the importance of educational programs for casino employees on the career commitment and job commitment. In other words, it aims to reveal the corporate performance in accordance with educational programs for casino employees. On top of reviewing the existing preceding researches on the research variables such as the importance of educational programs, career commitment, and job commitment, the empirical analysis method with the use of survey was used. Targeting employees of G company as a large casino company of Korea, using the spss 21.0 as an analysis tool, the demographic analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability analysis were conducted. To verify the relations between research variables, the correlation analysis and multiple-regression analysis were performed.
In the results of this study, the problem analysis & customer service factor and foreign language educational program had significantly positive effects on the career commitment of casino employees while the personal ability & contract worker management education, problem-solving education, and position stage education had no effects on the career commitment. The foreign language educational program had positive effects on the job commitment of casino employees, and casino employees showed high correlations between job commitment and career commitment.
By examining the relations between the importance of educational programs for casino employees, career commitment, and job commitment, this study found differences from other industries, and also analyzed the educational programs having significant effects on the corporate performance. It also suggested the improvement direction of educational programs of G company, and the HR management measures of casino employees. However, as the target of this study was limited to the employees of G company, it is limited to expansively apply the results. On top of G company, it is expected to have future researches on differences in accordance with each group, branch, and public enterprise/enterprise-type group, regarding the satisfaction, career commitment, job commitment, and the importance of educational programs of P or K company.
