The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of positive leadership on self efficacy and job enthusiasm. In particular, this study investigated whether self efficacy has a mediating effect in the procedure that positive leadership has an effect on job enthusiasm.
Literature studies were conducted to establish the concept and relationship of variables, and research model and hypotheses were set based on this. A questionnaire survey was conducted with financial institution personnel, and the results were analyzed by SPSS 18.0. Reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis of the variables were conducted including the frequency analysis of the sample. This study is summarized as follows.
First, positive atmosphere, positive relationship, and positive meaning had a positive effect on self-efficacy.
Second, self-efficacy had a positive effect on vitality, devotion, and commitment.
Third, positive meaning had a positive effect on vitality and commitment, while positive relationship had a significant effect on commitment, and positive meaning had a positive effect on commitment.
Fourth, self-efficacy played a partially mediating role in the relationship between positive meaning of positive leadership and vitality of job enthusiasm. In terms of the effect of the positive relationship of positive leadership on the devotion of job enthusiasm, self-efficacy played a partially mediating role. In addition, in terms of the effect of the positive relationship of positive leadership on the devotion of job enthusiasm, self-efficacy played a partially mediating role.
Finally, self-efficacy played a partially mediating role in terms of the effect of the positive relationship of positive leadership on the devotion of job enthusiasm, self-efficacy played a partially mediating role.
