치유정원 계획모델 개발에 관한 연구

본 연구는 치유정원 조성을 위하여 필요한 계획 분야와 계획요소를 도출하고 치유정원에 적용 가능한 이론적 계획모델을 개발하였다.
이를 위하여 선행연구문헌을 토대로 계획분야와 계획요소를 분류하고 계획요소 체계를 수립하여 중요도를 분석하였다.
또한, 보다 효과적인 치유정원을 계획하기 위하여 이용자의 특성을 성격유형으로 구분하고 성격유형에 따른 필요도를 분석하여 두 가지 모델을 개발하였다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 계획모델을 실제 대상지에 적용하여 그 유용성을 검토하였다.

본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.

첫째, 치유정원 계획분야를 물리적환경, 사회적환경, 인지적환경, 기능적환경, 심리적환경 5개 분야로 분류하고 계획분야에 따라 19개 계획요소를 도출하였다.
· 물리적환경 – 식물식재, 정원경관, 수경공간, 그늘공간
· 사회적환경 – 작업공간, 레크레이션공간, 커뮤니티공간, 운동공간
· 인지적환경 - 랜드마크요소, 사인시스템
· 기능적환경 – 안전한 시설물과 재료, 재해안전시설, 유니버셜디자인, 접근이 쉬
운 동선, 경제적 유지관리
· 심리적환경 – 시각적 개방성, 프라이버시 보장, 휴식공간의 다양성, 예술적요소

둘째, 계획요소의 중요도 순위 분석 결과, 1순위는 식물식재, 2순위는 재해안전시설, 3순위는 휴식공간의 다양성이 상위 순위를 차지하였고, 예술적 요소와 랜드마크요소는 각각 18위와 19위의 하위 순위로 나타났다.

셋째, 계획요소의 중요도 수준을 평가하여 3개의 그룹으로 분류하였으며, 가장 중요한 A그룹은 식물식재, 재해안전시설 2개 요소가 포함되었고, 다음 순위의 B그룹은 휴식공간의 다양성 등 11개 요소가 포함되었으며, A, B그룹에 비하여 덜 중요한 C그룹은 그늘공간 등 6개 요소가 포함되었다.

넷째, 애니어그램 성격유형별 계획분야의 필요도 순위를 분석한 결과, 본능형은 물리적환경이 1위, 기능적 환경이 2위, 심리적 환경이 3위로 나타났고, 감정형은 심리적 환경이 1위, 물리적환경이 2위, 사회적환경이 3위를 차지하였고, 사고형은 심리적 환경이 1위, 물리적환경과 기능적환경이 공동2위로 나타났다. 인지적 환경은 모든 성격유형에서 최하위를 차지하였다.

다섯째, 애니어그램 성격유형별 계획분야의 필요도 수준을 평가한 결과, 본능형, 감정형, 사고형 모두 각각 2개의 그룹으로 분류되었다. 본능형의 필요도 1순위 그룹은 물리적환경, 기능적환경, 심리적환경, 사회적환경 등 4개의 계획분야가 포함되었고, 감정형은 심리적환경, 물리적환경, 사회적환경 등 3개의 계획분야가 필요도 1순위 그룹으로 나타났고, 사고형은 본능형과 동일하게 나타났다.

여섯째, 치유정원을 계획할 때 도입하여야 하는 요소를 적극적 도입요소, 소극적 도입요소, 선택적 도입요소로 분류하여 애니어그램 성격유형별로 모델을 개발하였다.
본능형과 사고형의 모델은 ⦗13개 적극적 도입요소⦘- ⦗4개 소극적 도입요소⦘ - ⦗2개 선택적 도입요소⦘ 체계의 동일하게 개발되었으며, 감정형의 모델은 ⦗9개 적극적 도입요소⦘ - ⦗8개 소극적 도입요소 ⦘ - ⦗2개 선택적 도입요소⦘ 체계로 개발되었다.

일곱째, 현재 실제 조성된 치유정원에 계획모델을 적용하여 새로운 치유정원을 계획하였으며, 기존의 치유정원과 새로운 계획(안)을 비교 분석하여 계획모델의 유용성을 검토한 결과 계획모델의 유용성이 높고 치유효과가 높아질 것으로 예상되었다.

A Study on the Development of Healing Garden Planning Models

This study aims to derive the planning parts and planning elements for healing garden construction and to develop the theoretical planning model applicable to the healing garden.
To this end, I distinguish the planning parts and planning elements based on prior literature and analyze the importance by establishing a planning element system. In order to plan more effective healing garden, I develop two different models by classifying the characteristics of users into personality types and analyzing the necessity based on this personality types. Based on these results, I examine the usefulness of the planning whether it is applicable to the actual site.

The results of this study are as follows.

Firstly, planning parts of healing garden are divided into 5 parts: physical environment, social environment, cognitive environment, functional environment, and psychological environment, and 19 planning elements are derived based on these five separate parts.
· Physical environment – planting, garden view, hydrological space, shade space
· Social environment – workspace, recreation space, community space, exercise space
· Cognitive environment – landmark element, sign system
· Functional environment – safe facility and materials, disaster safety facility, universal design, accessible path, economical maintenance
· Psychological environment – sight openness, privacy guarantee, diversity of resting areas, artistic element

Secondly, according to the result of analysis of importance of planning elements, the top ranking is the planting, the second is the disaster safety facility, and the third is the diversity of rest space. The artistic element and the landmark element rank 18th and 19th respectively.

Thirdly, the importance level of planning elements is evaluated and classified into three groups. The most important group ‘A’ includes two elements: planting and disaster safety facility. The next important group ‘B’ is consisted of eleven elements such as the diversity of resting space, and the less important group ‘C’ compared with the group ‘A’ and ‘B’ contains six elements including shade space.

Fourthly, according to a result of analyzing the rank order of necessity in the planning parts, based on enneagram personality types, the physical environment ranked first, the functional environment ranked second, and the psychological environment ranked third in the instinctual type. The psychological environment ranked first, the second physical environment ranked second, and the social environment ranked thrid in the emotional type. In the thinking type, the psychological environment ranked first, physical environment and functional environment co-ranked second. The cognitive environment ranked lowest in all types.

Fifthly, the results of evaluating the level of necessity in the planning area by the enneagram personality types show that instinct type, emotional type, and thinking type were classified into two groups respectively. The first ranking group of instinct type in the level of necessity includes four planning fields such as physical environment, functional environment, psychological environment and social environment. In the emotional type, three planning areas such as psychological environment, physical environment, and social environment are included in first ranking group in the level of necessity. The thinking type appeared the same as instinct type.

Sixthly, I classify the factors to be considered, when planning the healing garden, into three different categories, active introduction factor, passive introduction factor and selective introduction factor and, according to the level of importance and necessity, develop a model for each enneagram personality type.
The models of instinct type and thinking type are developed in the same way of ‘13 active introduction elements’ - ‘4 passive introduction elements’ - and ‘2 selective introduction elements’. The emotional type is developed as the system of ‘9 active introduction elements’ - ‘8 passive introduction elements’ - and ‘2 optional introduction elements.’

Lastly, I applied the planning model to an actual site to design new healing garden and compared this new plan to the existing plan. According to a result, this new planning model is more useful and the healing effect is also expected to increase.
