Presentation Scale-K(PSPS-K), Inventory of Interpersonal Problem Circumplex(IIP-C), The Ways of Coping Check-list, Self-encouragement Scale, Social Self-efficacy Scale. As a result of cluster analysis using 433 copies of data except for 17 copies of the collected questionnaires that were inadequately responded or missing information, it was classified into four groups as follows. First, the hiding imperfection group showed higher perfectionistic self-presentation and interpersonal problems, higher emotion
relaxation coping than the other groups, and lower levels of
self-encouragement and social self–efficacy. On the other hand, the perfectionistic self-presentation available group is a group with high perfectionistic self-presentation tendency but low interpersonal problems. It uses problem-focused coping, emotional relaxation coping, wishful thinking coping, and higher levels of self-encouragement and social self-efficacy. Also, the group experiencing genuine relationships showed the lowest level of perfectionistic self-presentation and interpersonal problems, and the most common use of seeking social support among the four groups, and emotional relaxation coping and wishful thinking coping showed the lowest level. This group also showed the highest self-encouragement and social self-efficacy. Finally, the Interpersonal dissatisfaction group showed lower perfectionistic self-presentation than the average, but showed a higher score than the average in ’moving toward people’ and ’moving away from people’. And showing lower stress coping strategies than the other groups, The level of self-encouragement and social self-efficacy was also low. The purpose of this study is to find out the ways in which Korean university student’s efforts to present themselves perfectly related to the interpersonal problems in order to devise a differentiated intervention plan for university students who have difficulties in interpersonal relations.
