韓國傳統의 四柱 分析에 대한 硏究 = A study of Korean traditional Saju-Analysis

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 한국전통의 사주분석에 대한 연구로서 미래를 예측하는 다양한 방법들에 대한 그 역사적 유래와, 현실에서의 활용방법, 그리고 옛 부터 전해 내려오는 과정에서의 변화모습 등을 연구함으로서 미래예측방법에 대한 역사를 알고 그 진실을 밝힘으로서 잘못된 예측으로 인하여 오히려 더욱 힘든 삶을 살아가야 하는 것을 미연에 방지하기 위하여 여러 미래예측방법들이 어떠한 경로를 통하여 전해 내려 왔으며, 또한 현재 한국인들이 사용하고 있는 미래예측 방법은 어떤 것이 있으며, 그 방법에 대한 구체적 내용들을 연구하였다.
이러한 연구를 통해 과학의 발달로 인한 사람들의 다양한 직업과 환경 등, 현실에 맞는 미래예측 방법이 무엇인가를 알고 각 개인 취향에 따라 적절한 방법을 선택함으로서 보다 정확한 미래를 예측하여 인간의 삶이 보다 풍요롭고 윤택하기를 바라는 것이다.
논문의 구성은 총 5장으로 구성되어 있으며, Ⅰ장 서론에서는 연구의 필요성 및 목적, 그리고 논문의 구성 및 연구방법에 대하여 기술하였고, Ⅱ장에서는 미래예측방법의 근간이 되는 사주명리에 대한 역사를 알기 위하여 중국의 사주명리 기원, 한국의 사주명리 전래, 그리고 현대에서의 사주명리의 활용을 연구하였으며, Ⅲ장에서는 현대사회에서의 사주명리에 대한 다양한 이론을 연구하기 위하여 자평명리로 본 사주해석, 성명학으로 본 사주해석, 그리고 타로의 유입과 사주 해석 순으로 서술하였으며, Ⅳ장에서는 한국 전통의 미래예측 방법을 연구하기 위하여 민속신앙과 사주명리, 당사주의 유래 및 사주해석 방법을 연구한 후, 이지함의 토정비결에 대한 연구를 하였고 마지막 Ⅴ장에서는 앞서 연구한 결과를 토대로 우리가 미래를 예측하는 방법에 있어서 그 역사를 인식함으로서 보다 정확도가 높은 방법을 선택하는 안목을 넓히고자하는 본문의 연구내용을 종합하여 결론을 도출하였다.
미래예측의 다양한 방법 중 사람의 태어난 년ㆍ월ㆍ일ㆍ시에 각각의 天干과 地支를 적용하여 그 8자를 분석함으로서 사람의 미래를 예측하는 사주분석은 그 활용도가 매우 높으며 대부분의 미래예측방법에도 적용되고 있다. 이는 그 뿌리가 점성학에서 유래 되었으며 전해오는 과정에서 다양한 방법으로 만들어졌음을 알 수가 있다.
현재 우리가 활용하고 있는 다양한 방법들의 기원인 고대 중국 하ㆍ은ㆍ주 시대의 사상적 배경을 알아보았고, 진ㆍ한ㆍ당ㆍ송ㆍ명ㆍ청으로 이어지는 중국의 사주명리 역사를 탐구하였으며, 한국의 역사 속에서 삼국시대부터 고려, 조선 그리고 현대에 이르는 미래예측방법의 전래를 살펴보았다. 사주분석의 구체적인 방법을 알아보기 위하여 자평명리의 태동과 유래를 살펴보았으며, 인간이면 누구나 태어나면서 부모로부터 부여받는 이름이 운명에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가 하는 성명학으로 본 미래예측, 그리고 최근 우리나라에서 많이 활용하고 있는 서양적 미래예측 방법의 하나인 타로에 대한 역사와 현실까지의 유입, 그리고 그 활용에 관한 것을 연구하였다.
또한 예부터 우리의 내면 깊숙이 생활에 잠재해 있던 민속신앙과 미래예측의 관계를 살펴보았으며, 한국인의 삶과 함께했던 당사주와 토정비결에 대한 그 역사와 전래과정 그리고 활용방법 등을 알아보았다. 현재 한국인에게 많이 활용되고 있는 미래예측 방법에 대하여 그 역사와 전래과정 그리고 해석방법을 연구했다는 것은 고무적인 일이며, 본 논문을 통하여 사주분석의 역사를 알고 정확한 미래 예측의 방법에 한걸음 더 나아가 인간의 삶이 보다 윤택해 지기를 바라는 마음이다.
