맞벌이 가정의 부모교육 요구에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 맞벌이 가정의 부모들이 경험하는 양육스트레스와 직장과 가정 사이의 갈등 문제 등에 효율적으로 대처할 수 있도록 부모교육 요구도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 연구를 진행하였다. 선행연구를 통해 본 연구의 목적을 분석하기 위해 다음과 같이 연구문제를 설정하였다.
연구문제 1. 일반적 사항에 따라 맞벌이 가정의 양육스트레스, 가족 건강성, 직장-가정갈등은 어떠한 차이가 있는가?
연구문제 2. 일반적 사항에 따라 부모교육 요구도는 어떠한 차이가 있는가?
연구문제 3. 맞벌이 가정의 양육스트레스, 가족 건강성, 직장-가정갈등이 부모교육 요구도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가?
연구문제 4. 맞벌이 가정 부모들이 인식하는 부모교육 만족도와 개선사항은 어떠한가?
연구를 진행하기 위해 경기도 용인지역에 위치한 4개 어린이집을 임의로 선정하여 맞벌이 가정 부모들을 대상으로 설문조사를 통한 실증분석을 진행하였고, 통계 패키지 프로그램을 활용한 분석결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 맞벌이 가정의 양육스트레스, 직장-가정갈등, 가족 건강성을 분석한 결과, 양육 스트레스는 일상적 스트레스가 3.33점으로 가장 높은 것으로 나타났고, 가족 건강성은 가족관계가 3.89점 그리고 직장-가정 갈등은 가정-직장 갈등(FIW) 중 시간 근거가 2.97점으로 가장 높이 조사되었다.
둘째 양육스트레스, 직장-가정갈등, 가족 건강성과 부모교육 요구도의 관계를 분석한 결과, 일상적 스트레스가 높을수록 자녀 대인관계와 자녀 이해 부모교육 요구도가 높아지고, 가족관계가 좋지 않을수록 자녀 학업 부모교육 요구도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한, 직장-가정 갈등에 따라 예절교육 부모교육 요구도 역시 영향을 받는 것으로 검증되었다.
셋째, 맞벌이 가정 부모들이 인식하는 부모교육의 만족도와 앞으로 개선사항을 분석한 결과에서 부모교육 참여로 인한 부모-자녀변화를 살펴보면, 부모교육으로 자녀 이해 도움 수준은 보통수준이었고, 부모교육으로 자녀와의 의사소통 향상, 양육스트레스 완화 수준, 부모교육으로 분노조절 도움 수준, 자녀의 생활습관 지도에 도움 수준은 별다른 영향을 받지 않은 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 맞벌이 가정 부모들의 부모교육 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 이들의 부모교육에 대한 요구도를 파악하여 부모교육 프로그램에 반영하여 개발할 필요성이 제기되었다.
한편, 맞벌이 가정의 부모교육 개선사항을 살펴보면, 바람직한 맞벌이 가정 부모교육 실시 운영주체에 대하여 부모교육 전문가가 가장 많았고, 적절한 맞벌이 가정 부모교육 진행 주기로 연 2회가 가장 적당하다는 의견이었다. 또한, 장기적인 부모교육보다는 맞벌이에 따른 시간적 제약으로 인해 단기간에 진행되기를 희망하였고, 평일보다는 주말을 더 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 선호하는 부모교육 프로그램 운영방법으로 부모회가 41.7%로 가장 많았고 그 다음으로 면담 및 상담이 21.1% 등으로 조사되었다.
따라서 앞으로 증가하고 있는 맞벌이 가정의 추세를 고려할 때 일반가정과 맞벌이 가정을 분리한 부모교육의 개발이 필요하다고 사료된다. 특히, 맞벌이 가정의 경우 주말시간을 선호하는 관계로 부모교육을 실시하기에 앞서 희망하는 교육시간대나 요구도 등을 조사하여 부모교육을 계획한다면 부모들의 참여율을 높이고 자녀양육에도 도움이 될 것으로 전망한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research was progressed to figure out the factors to affect the demand of the parent education to cope with the nurture stress and the matters of conflict between job and family which a dual family experiences. In order to analyze the objective of this research through a precedent study, we set up research problems as follows.
Research problem 1. How are the nurture stress of a dual-income family, family health, and job-family conflict are based on demographic characteristics?
Research pro 2. How is the demand of the parent education is based on demographic characteristics?
Research pro 3. How do the nurture stress of a dual-income family, family health, and job-family conflict affect the demand of the parent education?
Research problem 4. How does it go with the satisfaction of parent education of a dual-income family and improvement affairs?
In order to progress the research, we picked out four day care centers located in Yong-In of Gyeonggi-do at random and progressed a positive analysis through a questionnaire survey targeting dual-income family parents, and the result of analysis using a statistic package program is as follows.
First, as the result of analysis on the nurture stress of a dual-income family, family health, job-family conflict, The nurture stress marked 3.33 points, the highest in a daily stress, the family health marked 3.89 points in family relation and family-job conflict marked 2.97 points in the time base out of family-job conflict(FIW), the highest in the survey.
Second, as the result of analysis on the relation between nurture stress, family health, job-family conflict and the demand of parent education, it was surveyed that the higher a daily stress was, the higher the demand of children interpersonal relation and children understanding parent education became, and the worse family relation was, the more influential the demand for parent education for children school work became. In addition, it was proved that the demand for parent education for manners education was affected by family-job conflict.
Third, as the result of analysis on the satisfaction of parent education a dual-income family parents recognize and future improvement affairs, when we reviewed parent-children change owing to parent education participation, it was analyzed that the assistance level of children understanding with parent education was normal, the improvement of communication with children through parent education, relaxation level of nurture stress, the assistance level of anger adjustment through parent education, the assistance level for the guidance for children’s living habit were not affected specially. Therefore, in order to enhance the satisfaction of parent education of a double-income family, the necessity was raised to develop parent education by figuring out the demand for their parent education and reflecting parent education program.
Whereas, as for the improvement affairs of the parent education of a double-income family, the operation subject to practice the parent education of a double-income family got the highest points in a parent education specialist, and the progress cycle of the proper parent education of a double-income family got the highest mark in the proper opinion in twice-a- year. In addition, it appeared that they desired the proceeding of a short period of parent education instead of a long-term parent education because of the time limit owing to a double-income work, and they preferred the weekends to weekdays. And it was surveyed that the operation method for the preferable parent education program marked 41.7%, the highest in parent meeting, the next led to interview and consultation marking 21.1% etc.
Therefore when considering the tendency of a dual-income family increasing in the future, it is thought that it is necessary to develop parent education separating a general family from a double-income family. Especially, in case of a double-income family, they prefer the weekend time, so it is prospected that before carrying out parent education, if we survey desiring education time or demand level etc. and plan parent education, it will enhance parents’ commitment rate and give help to the nurture of children.
